"This place is just fantastic! The luxury amenities and prime location are so awesome and the staff is extremely helpful. Joyce was really knowledgeable and gave me a great overview of the property. Highly recommend!"
"The Terraces @Perkins Rowe is lovely. I have lived here many years and highly recommend this high-end living at The Terraces. The new management itself is one of the main reasons I continue to reside at The Terraces. Jody and her staff make living here very pleasant and have truly taken care of not only ensuring your building is top-notch but also your daily experience is as it should be here. Again, I cannot say enough wonderful things that cause me to recommend The Terraces at Perkins Rowe..if looking for a unique and glamorous living experience do not hesitate to reach out to Jody and her staff, you will be spoiled by her attention to detail, professionalism and sincerity. The Terraces at Perkins Rowe is not an average living experience..Jody has made it exceptional! Thank you for all you do..it has made a difference! Debbie"
"Absolutely abysmal. I've lived here a little over six months and this is the worst renting experience I've ever had. The "security gate" to our building's parking garage has been broken for five months, meaning anyone can walk in from the street and roam the halls. We've put in about 7 or 8 maintenance requests and gotten responses to maybe half of those requests. Last month, they were supposed to come replace the tiles in the shower that have been moldy since I moved in (the staff seemingly covered up the mold when the previous tenant moved out rather than actually deep cleaning the bathroom). We also had water seeping through the tile flooring in the bathroom on multiple occasions, which seems to have caused little concern for management despite me showing videos of the problem to multiple employees. We also reported these strange mites that appeared to be living off the mold in the shower and closet, again nothing has been done months later and they're now infesting the bottom level of the closet. To top it off, I've had several packages stolen from the mailroom (which is "secured" behind a security pad requiring a key card). When I reported the most recent theft, a staff member acknowledged the problem and suggested I get a P.O. box or have my things shipped somewhere else. I love Perkins Rowe, but these apartments have been a monumental letdown."
"Please do yourself a favor and choose anywhere else in Baton Rouge. Where do I even start? First of all, I had to move apartments after the first one flooded. The one they moved me into also has leaking issues and when I had to stay out of the apartment while they fixed the hole in my ceiling, I was never compensated for that. There have been multiple issues and safety concerns I have emailed about, but nobody ever responded. The fire alarm will go off in the middle of the night, but management doesn’t notify you about whether it is a drill or not. They will interrupt you without notice to check on leaks in the building. They are now saying we have to take our boxes out to a dumpster because it’s a “safety hazard” (While we pay a hefty trash fee). Yet, the lobby is full of boxes and packages where anyone can trip trying to get their mail - how is this not a safety hazard? I would not normally post something like this, but I am fed up with no response from management and I want to make sure potential residents know about these things. The only positive is the location and being in a place with a lot of things to do - it has potential, but management really needs to step it up to help it reach its potential."
"After residing here for more than four years, I can confidently say that this apartment complex in Baton Rouge ranks among the best places to live. Its standout feature is undeniably its exceptional location, offering easy access to a movie theater, a variety of restaurants, shops, and a grocery store – essentially, everything you could need right at your doorstep. Throughout my stay, the apartment complex consistently upheld high standards of safety, cleanliness, and tranquility. The management staff proved to be both responsive and helpful, promptly addressing any issues that arose. If given the opportunity, I would not hesitate to choose this place as my residence once again. While there may be other housing options available, considering its prime location and affordability, this apartment complex truly excels as a wonderful place to call home."
