"TLDR: Melanie Bruce is terrible and if she is so busy, she shouldn't be taking on new clients or telling the sellers on the closing day that she "doesn't even need the commission from this sale", the broker Bill will not have your back. But Shelby Wall is amazing! I was referred to Melanie by my Alabama realtor who wanted a real estate agent who knew the area well, was experienced, and would treat me like family. The only part that was true is Melanie is experienced. She was rude from the start, she did not make me feel like a priority, and she barely answered my phone calls or texts. She pushed me and my husband to get under contract on a new build with a closing date a month from the date we wanted. She never made it a priority for us to see the house or schedule a tour, and she made me have all communication with the new build company. When I ran into an issue with the new build and said I wanted to look at other options, she sent me some houses but had a different agent show them. Which was great because the other agent, Shelby, was amazing! We hit an issue with financing and when I called Melanie to tell her she said, "We can try again in 6 months". My husband and I had been working with the financial company for months, and she just wanted to give up. I asked, "You don't want me to try to get financing anywhere else?" She said, "Oh, did you want to?" I should have fired her then. Instead, my sister and my Alabama realtor helped me to secure financing through Rocket Mortgage and when I told her I was working with them she said, "If you couldn't get financing through Financial Assurance, you won't be able to get it with Rocket". Do you know who approved my mortgage in 3 days? Rocket. After I got confirmation of the approval I called her broker Bill and told him the situation. He reassigned Shelby to communicate with me, but after telling my Alabama realtor that he felt that "they had a difference in personality". Fast forward 2 weeks to closing day, because it was delayed I had to close with Melanie in the room. From the minute the sellers walked into the title building, Melanie started telling them how she didn't need the commission from this sale, she is so busy, she didn't need me as a client, and most of her commission was going to my Alabama realtor anyway. I'm glad she lost money on this deal! She was terrible. And if she didn't need the commission so badly why not just give the deal over to Shelby? And, as I'm signing my closing documents, the notary and the other real estate agent were gushing about how great Rocket Mortage is, and how much they love them. Melanie just made a face and said, "I've never had a good experience with them." As I'm sitting in the room, signing my paperwork. She really could not be professional for 1 hour. Apparently, that was too much to ask."

"Well today my sister and I sold our Parents home. Our childhood home and the realitor that helped the buyers was Lauren Dehart. And I must say we were extremely disappointed. She told us one thing and then SCREWED US OVER. We agreed on only paying half closing and ended up having to pay ALL BUT 1000.00 out of 7000.00. Which when we started she said that figure was just something they had to put on paper. At the beginning our house was a certain amount and then we went down on the price. Which I would think the closing should go down as well. But Lauren Dehart NEVER changed the figures. So My sister and I got screwed over 1000.00s of dollars. SO we are not pleased with her service at all. She could of made the changes when she was suppose to make them. But she didnt. so now she made her cut and we got screwed. So Thanks but no Thanks Lauren. I know not all realitors are like her I do know one that I would HIGHLY recommend and her name is Chantel. So next time you need a realitor ask for Chantel not Lauren. I dont blame the Realitor company, I only blame the agent ."
