Belmere Luxury Apartments

"Don't live here, luxury is not a word to describe this place. I lived here nearly 3 yrs and it has gotten worse. I live on the 1st floor and have had water leaking into my apartment for over a year. At one point it was so bad they put up tarps to fix the problem which were up for months causing mold on the wall. The people above me are horrible, they blast music so sound and their jumping up and down caused my kitchen light to fall off the ceiling twice. I talked with the management who told me i need to call the security officer so they can have records before they do something.. well I have called the security officer over 5 times and spoken with management yet nothing happens. The trash bin has broken often causing trash to pile up and the security gates have worked for about two months the entire time I lived here. I will say the maintenance men are nice but the management is way you should live elsewhere."

"i have been here for almost 6 months and I like everything about this place except 2 things. the washer and dryer are inside the bathroom and the speed bumps. you can here cars driving over speed bumps day and night. also, there are just a pain when you drive over it. but... staff are nice, maintenance are fast, and amenities are well maintained. also, price is fair compared to competitors around the area. finally, electric bill is also fair ( around $40 for 2 bedrooms ) because of the isolation in the apartment."

"Disappointed I first moved here two years ago and while the rent was a bit steep, I was happy with living here. Since new management has taken over, it has been a massive downward spiral. Not only have I had my rent hiked each year living here, each time it has come time to renew my contract I have been sent a contract for the wrong rent amount as well as not including my preferred employer discount. This just strikes me as management trying to sneak higher rent past me which almost got me both times. When I renewed last, it took almost 3 months to get the right contract drawn up (8 total attempts, 3 contracts sent to me by them) and then they had the nerve to threaten me with converting my contract to month-to-month ($100 higher bill monthly) because I hadn't signed yet. I just signed for my third year since it's such a pain to move and was just told that the contract I signed was wrong, and my rent was higher once again and that I had an outstanding bill for the amount difference (which I was not notified of). Somehow I am being charged a different amount than the contract I signed for, and somehow I was expected to just know that magically. I have had a broken toilet, 7 non-functioning outlets, and a burnt out closet light for 3 months before it got fixed just recently despite a multitude of maintenance requests. However, the maintenance staff are amazing and truly work hard, but seem extremely understaffed as it is not uncommon for people to have work orders lasting months here (according to other residents). The living spaces are clean and living here is largely pleasant day to day, if only the business practices here weren't so sneaky I would be more than happy to live here. Side note, still waiting to have the screen of the patio fixed despite a work order placed when I first moved in 2 years ago. Yay bugs!"

"We are relocating from out of state and we worked with Trudy. She was exceptional! She was patient, understanding, resourceful and all around helpful. She had a wealth of knowledge about the property and the area which was a huge benefit for us being out of staters. When we viewed the property it was beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and clean and the people were friendly. The apartment was gorgeous, and this too was very clean and well maintained. All around Belmere is a great place to rent with friendly and accommodating management, beautiful facilities and great apartments!"

"My boyfriend and I recently moved down from New York City, we dealt with Trudy. She went above and beyond for us being attentive, answering questions, sending us photos videos emails everything to help us feel extremely comfortable moving across country. When we arrived to Louisiana she continued to help us and be beyond attentive every step of the way. She is a GREAT asset to this community and complex. We are extremely happy with our apartment and our maintenance man PeeBee he too is a great and helpful asset to this community!!!!! Always there within a snap of the fingers when something is down or needs some fixing. Neighbors are super quiet everyone is friendly. Pool... Omg beautiful! Gym is amazing, hot tub exquisite!!!!! No complaints! It would be a great mistake not to consider this place, if your not sure, call Trudy she will ALWAYS help you and answer every question! Just do it, Like Nike!"
