"Nice place with updated appliances. If you’re a college student, beware of prices before signing a lease. I needed a place before the semester started & a couple months later prices went down a great amount for a 1 bd, 1 bath. So I really wish I would’ve waited or signed for less amount of months. So if you need a place I’d TRY NOW! Prices are wayyy better now than when I moved here."
"Wonderful Management....very friendly, accommodating, and professional. Immediate attention to any qustions and requests. I love my apartment. Beautiful cabinets, state of the art appliances, very ample storage, and floor plans have great maximization of space. Nice amenities such as on site laundry area, workout area with a variety of equipment, social room, beautiful pool area, covered bench areas, etc. The grounds are well kept and very clean. After 17 months of displacement due to Hurricane Laura and flooding, I FINALLY feel "home". If you are searching for a place to relocate, I highly recommend Pecan Acres!"
"We were constantly told lies about upgrades when we chose to live there, they never came through. Our apartment was flooded several times, yet a portion of our deposit was held for carpet cleaning because of the mold smell in the walls from the flooding, poor management and the manager said she didnt have time to deal with it. Seems like she did considering she took our money for an issue with the flooding from our broken bathtub and the apartment next door flooing into ours. Dishonest office and apartment manager. Kinda something else that we were charged from carpet cleaning for the mold smell, when their intenions were to remove it all along to put down wood flooring, stole our money as far as we are concerned. Who pays 90.00 to clean carpet anyways. Liars and treat you unfairly when you've been honest and paid before even rent was due."
"Not much to like. Moved in 2 days ago and nothing is right. Apartment wasn't and isn't in a ready state to have tenants. Ac is not working mold in closet, sink in bathroom is cracked all the way through. Kitchen sink is pulling up from counter because counter isn't level. Hard to open microwave door for same reason. Refrigerator doesn't close properly and to fix the cosmetic issues they throw some paint on it and call it good. Still smells like paint in there. Carpet is dirty and old. Has burn marks from last tenant. Last but certainly not least the place was filthy had not been cleaned even after being told numerous times it was. If you can afford to rent somewhere else do this place isn't worth the 979 a month for 6 month lease."
"I lived down stairs in 2 different apartments. Buildings so old that you can hear the people snoring upstairs not to mention everything else. My patio furniture ruined by upstairs tenants dropping cigarettes on it. Water leaks from upstairs patio causing rotten siding and even into sheetrock inside. Mold probably in walls. Dryer vents clog and lent constantly covers everything and causes sinus problems. Carpet old and bad in both apartments, then they charge you to have it cleaned after you move out. Bath room vent fans so noisy you don't want to use them in both apartments. Utilities high because of lack of insulation in outer walls. Cabinets in kitchens and baths worn out. Only good about the place was the maintenance staff and 1 was leaving when I moved out. Don't sign a 1 year lease if a remote chance you might get transferred or have to move for any reason. It will cost you!"
