"This clinic is the worst. Social worker prevent me get care I NEEDED. after given wrong medicatoon....she sent me away said come back when u have an apointment.. WTH. .i suffered and blanked out...this is criminal....my grandson drowned because i couldnt save him. I couldnt drive to houston. I was not well. She was uncaring and need to be held accountable. Y. MONDAY."
"My doctor hardly ever does what she says she will and I always have to call later to get her to complete the things we talk about in my appointments. Then sometimes she will tell me that she never said she was going to do the things we talk about. When I call I can only talk to a nurse and always have to wait for return calls days or even a week later. On top of all that, the appointments I have are virtual from the VAMC. I should be able to just do them at home... I have been to a lot of VAMC's due to my moving around. This is pretty typical of them. Most deserve a single star. Something needs to change. These people and the system they work for is the sole reason there are so many veteran suicides."
"Absolutely unacceptable staff. There is no urgency for anything. I broke my hand and gave them my discharge papers from the hospital and doctor Kumari wasn’t there and the next day still never got a call. I’m waiting to see if someone is going to call me. I broke my hand 2 weeks ago. You’d think someone would call me whether it be a nurse or the doctor but no. I can’t get anyone on the phone and they just say “the doctor will call you”."
"I have recently transferred from the Austin Clinic VA where I was a patient for over 10 years, to Beaumont, where they acted like i was a new VA precipitant, I had to start or answer for every little thing, medication, and care I had taken, only to be denied several medications I have been taking for over 10 years, I have been here for over a year and yet to see a Dr, they dont have one, cannot get care for my hearing, no audiologist available. I have requested community care only to be sent in circles for a Dr referral, whom i am assigned someone in Houston, so no DR. this has got to be the worst VA and care for military personnel i have ever witnessed, I'm not certain who read these but I hope someone in a higher chain of command does and investigates and corrects these failing procedures. What a joke for needed medical care!!! 00000 stars!!"
"NEVER able to speak to Dr, nurse etc for help. Phone rings several times ,then hangs up or 30 min on hold, then hangs up. Most disorganized clinic of any kind. So much confusion. Some really good people here but more are rude and act like they wish they worked elsewhere. I wish they did too."
