"I am looking for a new doctor. Anyone have any recommendations? I’ve been seeing a nurse practitioner at CHRISTUS PREVENTIVE MEDICINE on Major and 105 who has unfortunately proven to be completely worthless. The entire practice is pretty much worthless. They try to come across as being SO religious in their beliefs. They are frauds on all spectrums. Obviously being a holy roller doesn’t mean you’re a good healthcare provider. It’s incredibly hypocritical!! I’ve been unhappy there for a long time but they were better than nothing. Now, after all these years Angela Rori (the NP) is claiming that she is not knowledgeable enough to handle my medical conditions. She admitted from the very beginning she knew absolutely nothing about Chronic Lyme Disease but promised to research the best method to handle it. She has done absolutely nothing proactive and now the Lyme disease treatment she’s kept me on has caused heart disease and the beginnings of kidney failure AND NOW she has conveniently chosen to drop me as a patient!! A patient who is 62 yrs old and has been going to this practice since 1997 and has Chronic Lyme disease, heart disease, kidney disease, thyroid disease, a hiatal hernia, and numerous other health issues. And they are going to force me to start over with a new doctor because they’re incompetent? That speaks volumes about the medical ethics represented in that practice. I can see from the other reviews that I am not the only person that feels this way or has been treated this way. Apparently they’ve been getting away with this for entirely too long! Has anyone else out there writing these reviews thought about contacting an attorney? I want nothing to do with anyone associated or affiliated with CHRISTUS or CHRISTUS ST. Elizabeth Hospital but am open to suggestions from the numerous others who posted their bad experiences with this group."

"Do not come here unless you DON’T wanna get a proper, professional explanation for your blood work results. It has been THREE weeks, I’ve gone up there AND called multiple times, and I can’t get anyone to explain my PROBLEMATIC blood results to me. Dr. Bryant is extremely superficial and inconsiderate of her patients. Your appointments won’t last longer than 10 minutes. She will rush you out, and you’ll never hear from her again. She’s good if you want medication, she’ll give it without any concerns or questioning (which is a huge red flag.) If you wanna pay an absurd amount of money for all of this, AND be left with a huge bruise on your arm from the botched blood draw, this place is perfect for you. I’ve been in the healthcare field as a nurse for 3 years, and I have NEVER met a PCP office or doctor who is so incompetent and doesn’t care about their patients. If your insurance allows, go somewhere else. I will not be back and I will take my blood results and all of the problem markers on it somewhere else. Thankfully as a nurse I already have an idea of what’s wrong, and it’s so easily treatable which makes this even MORE ridiculous. No doubt she would’ve given me the medication I need without asking twice if I could even get in contact with her or even a nurse. Absolutely ridiculous."

"My wife had an incredible experience there today. We are so happy to find Dr. Powell and the entire staff at Christus. Everyone we came in contact with was helpful and caring . Please keep up the great work!"

"I called ahead to make an appointment. On the day of appointment, they told me that they couldn't find my appointment and I was sent back to home. Mistakes happen and I'm okay with them. What drove me over the edge was that they didn't even apologize for the mistake they made. I could have shown them my phone record but I thought it wouldn't be worth the fight and I went to an emergency care clinic instead. If you can, avoid this clinic. If not, be sure to reconfirm your appointment or else your mental well-being will go down the toilet. They lack the ability to sympathize with their patients. They shouldn't to be in the health care business."
