Located at 5 Victory Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana, the Train Garden is a unique tourist attraction nestled in the lush corner of the Botanical Garden. This hidden gem showcases typical New Orleans architecture recreated with botanical materials, as well as replicas of streetcars and trains that wind around the track. Visitors can stroll along 1,300 feet of track, observing miniature streetcars and trains from the late 1800s to early 1900s at 1/22 of their actual size. The Train Garden was designed and constructed by renowned artisan Paul Busse, known for his intricate "mechanical and botanical" displays in gardens across the country. Although the trains do not operate on weekdays, the Train Garden is open during normal Botanical Garden hours and admission is included in the ticket price.
