"Giving 3 stars to be nice. Feb 18,2024. I decided to run in to get a few things rather than going to the big store across the highway. The store’s Refrigeration system was out. The store hasn’t been open 3 months I don’t think. Pretty messy looking inside, paper on the floor. Yesterday I went again, four days after the refrigeration problem. Refrigerator was working, but the store was still a complete mess. A few people stocking, but no one cleaning up. I am highly disappointed in the store. Aldi‘s corporate you better look into the store Immediately!!!!"
"Aldi is new to Baton Rouge. I had previously been to one in Virginia and was not overly impressed. However, I've revised my views after visiting this location. We went to just check it out and found the store to be clean and well stocked. The process of checking out is extremely efficient. And, this is a big deal to me, renting the shopping carts is brilliant; there wasn't a loose cart in the entire parking lot unlike other parking lots that are usually filled with them. I also appreciate the emphasis on using your own bags."
