"The management is awesome...all around great people.....its worth every penny"
"It would have been a nice experience had the woman behind the desk been friendly. Very nasty attitude and obviously not interested in a good review. I would sleep in a tent before I'd go back there."
"During our recent storms in Marshall we had no electricity for 6 days. They provided wonderful beds, a/c, and friendly service. It was a lifesaver, literally. They worked with me on all of the changing situations."
"All of the lower end motels in this town are owned by the exact same family who immigrated here a few generations back and yet still have no idea how American capitalism runs on the customer is always right the staff at these places treat you like they own you even after paying to stay there. Long story short the whole operation is ran by nepotism they are greedy they are manipulative and they hold no Texan or American values. If you want to pay money for the experience of staying in a rundown brick building constantly being surveilled by people that want to act like all they see when they look at you is something they have to deal with in order to make a paycheck then may I suggest just getting arrested and going to prison because it's a lot cheaper for you."
"My grandparents owned this motel from 1953 to 1969. It was called the Daniel's Motel at that time. Some of the greatest times of my life and the lives of our family and their friends were spent at this motel. We spent a great portion of the summers there and every holiday with the entire family. Wonderful times! We also loved going to the community pool every day and Dairy Mart after for a chocolate covered icecream cone. Loved shopping at all the dime stores on the square. Me and my siblings were all born in Carthage. It is dear to all of our hearts."
