"I requested and paid for a double king bed with a bath and shower. I got a single king bed with only a shower, no bath. The room was dirty, not just a little bit but like, the deep cleaning that housekeeping should take care of routinely clearly isn't being done. The hotel advertised a cafe in the lobby with drink and coffee orders 24 hours a day. This is incorrect. When asked if I could order a coffee I was simply told "it doesn't work". The continental breakfast was good!"

"Rooms were almost completely redone, there was black mold in the shower but it did come with full size washing products! Breakfast was good-eggs, ham, waffles etc My only other issue we had was while checking in, the front desk had her kids and man surrounding the desk which made it very uncomfortable as the husband was trying to get my husband to come party… Kinda far from anything but close to the port!"

"I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center and it was a disappointing experience overall. While the location was convenient for attending the Ernst v. Morial Convention Center, the rest of the stay fell short. The valet parking was a nightmare, reception was lackluster, and the lobby was uncomfortably warm. The air conditioning in our room was barely effective, constantly needing to be reset after only a few hours of use. To top it off, black mold was visibly present around all the air-conditioned vents in the atrium. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this hotel in the future."

"I stayed there for 8 nights for a business trip. It is my worst Hyatt experience…. I talked with the staff about the issues and the attitude is WE DONT CARE…. 1. My personal towel was taken by the room cleaning on day 1, despite multiple complaints to the front desk, they did not return it even after I checked out. It brings me a lot inconveniences to my stay…. 2. The phone in my room was broken, and it took four days and three complaints to have it repaired…. 3. The WiFi was consistently weak and slow, hindering my ability to carry out basic tasks…. 4. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, which should be a basic requirement for Hyatt… 5. The bed sheet did not cover the mattress upon my arrival and stays the same after multiple room cleanings. It is not that hard to make the bed…"

"The rooms are huge! 2 queens, plus a nice sectional with a privacy curtain. The breakfast was way more than you normally get and the service there was great. The front desk service was very friendly. I also like the security where the front door can only be accessed with a key or a person inside letting you in."
