"My room did not have a door latch to further lock the door from anyone coming inside even if they use a key card. The front sliding door says it needs a key card to access the building, but in all hours of the night the door slides open without one. Noticed the second night once someone lifted up the toilet seat that it was not properly cleaned. Blood was all over the toilet seat and the sheet on the bed had blood on it as well. You can hear everything in this hotel the walls are very thin and renovation is going on."

"This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Went through five rooms before checking out early to go to another hotel. First had no heat/AC, second was humid and filled with mold, and three others smelled like they were cleaned with paint thinner, and all were lighted with obnoxious fluorescent lighting. The entire hotel is undergoing renovations, which they neglect to mention on their website, so there are absolutely no amenities, such as breakfast and coffee, etc."

"Disappointed in my stay due to the fact that construction was still in progress for remodeling. Booked my room for 2 nights with a good rate, when I went to add a third I ask about a discount due to construction at the least match previous rate. The guy sarcastically replied that the room was freshly remodeled, and that motel 6 charged more than the rate I intentionally paid. I've stayed previous to the owner change with no issues, the reason I asked for the discount was because the room was not fully completed. Had outlets that didnt work furniture missing, holes the walls, construction making noise, etc. Very disappointed in the response felt it was a reasonable request, will not stay here in the future."

"I had a good experience for a three day trip to Lafayette. I would rate the hotel a 4.5 out of 5 due to a couple issues. On one of the nights I stayed, the power went out twice and the wifi and cable had issues for close to 6 hours. Also the TV didn't work in the two rooms that I went to. The receptionist was quick to check me into a good room and remedy the situation. She is knowledgeable about the area, provided excellent service, and made me feel at home. Despite the current renovations, the room was actually nice and the hotel is in a good location not too far from Lafayette, restaurants, and attractions. I will stay here again whenever I come back to the area in the future."

"Looks like the Hotel is going through a full refurbishment by new owners. Was here the Sunday over Memorial day weekend. Had a huge corner room, two bathrooms, the main was missing its mirror, the Living area had a lamp on the floor where an end table should have been. The bed was very soft. The tub/shower while dated was huge too. Everything worked as it should. Breakfast was a non starter as with the limited guest list there was virtually nothing to select from. Cereal and fruit was it. The staff were very friendly. No pool, or the one there looks like it was hit by a hurricane. of note: Except for the diner across 90 you'll be driving 10-15 minutes to find something to eat."
