"Kitchen won't work. I rented a week to try, I told them I wanted to stay and pay for 2 weeks,but they only charged one, said next week will charge again. I rather move to a hotel with kitchen, I spend too much money eating out. But a kitchen saves you money. Their stove is a unique design that only supports special feature pans and cooking bowls, which people don't generally have. That means, either I had to buy new cooking utensils, or buy a double-burner stove to connect it on top of theirs, which I did in order to save me some money. It didn't work right for the stove I bought wasn't as good, too slow.. No carpet, but a nice small living room for visits. Two TV sets makes great to watch a movie while your spouse rests. The hotel is well located though. Near everything in Gonzales. That's something I love from it. There's a waffle house right around the corner, route I-10 ready to go East or west."

"If you ever in the area and need a hotel please don't come to this one at all. Never in my life have I ever had bad experience with any hotels and this one just did it. Me and my husband paid for the hotel and when we got to the room it smelled like cigarettes which was a smoking room. We immediately started coughing. My husband went up to the front to see if we could get another room that was not smoking and they told us that all the rooms are smoking rooms. Then said we couldn't get a refund because we was there more than 30 minutes (which was a lie). I started itching and itching and couldn't stop. We decided to give them a chance but by me being pregnant I couldn't stand being in that room so we decided to go request a refund immediately. They have roaches, bathroom look nasty, a whole socket was out the wall the place need to be closed down seriously because they didn't even care that I was pregnant. We went back to the front to demand our refund and they decided to call the police on us just because we wanted to sleep somewhere comfortable... PLEASE ADVOID THIS PLACE BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY NASTY."

"Asked for a different room because the smell was giving my wife a headache 10 mins into having the room, manager lied and said there are no more rooms when I saw empty rooms on the way to my room. Smell was so strong that even I started coughing, everything had stains and dirt on it, especially in the bathroom, stains and dirt even inside the refrigerator, and burn holes to go along with a bad odor on the bed sheets, i tried to get a refund shortly after my wife's head started hurting from the smell and the manager said that wasn't possible because 30 mins had already passed since the transaction was completed. Me or my wife couldn't even get comfortable there it was pretty close to a nightmare, I never leave bad reviews but this was by far the worse hotel experience I've had and the fact they knew my pregnant wife was with me felt very disrespectful. I would think very carefully about believing any good reviews about this place just being honest."

"I had to find a place while working out of town. This is a motel chain I have used before in different locations. The man I spoke with in the after hours check in was nice and friendly. He got me in and out pretty quick and I got in my room. Once in the room, it was okay but not great. The lighting in the room seemed very poor, somewhat bleak. The bathroom had a terrible yellow light that only turned on with the fan which drives me nuts. The bathroom tub had lots of stains on it and mold on the base of the shower curtain. It was a very dated room in my opinion. The bed was comfortable and clean, though the sheets had been very worn. There was fraying on the sheets and even a burn hole from someone who smoked I am assuming (it was a smoke free room). There was decent noise from outside the window as well, people talking and what not. This isn't the facilities fault, but annoying non the less. To summarize: It is dated and not the cleanest. It is not the quietest either. For the price you could probably get something better, but works in a pinch."
