Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Beaumont

"I stayed at this location for almost a month, i went home for a day and a half when i came back. My room entry card would not work, big red flag! I went to the front desk to get it fixed upon entering my room ; I noticed my dresser drawers were searched and left open, and i was missing a gym bag full of fr clothing worth $700.00 to $800.00 . I talked to the front desk manager and wasn't available. i was told to talk to the manager the next day. The manager has an attitude and told me they are not responsible for stolen or missing items. Told me wanted, i could file a report with the beaumont police department and that they would provide a video to the police department, not me. The manager gave me an attitude and blew me off. This place is kind of ghetto as hell, people smoking weed in the parking lot and doing transactions. Find another place this place needs some work as well. Spend the little extra cash and get a better, she place."

"For $63, this was a great night's sleep. Usually, I only stay at Holiday Inn expresses, but as an experiment, I tried this Econo Lodge, and had I did. Sure, the breakfast was only a waffle machine, corn flakes, or cheerios, but it was $63! It's dated, clean and comfortable."

"Don't be fooled by the pictures on this site. Hotel is totally run down. Smoke smell throughout, moldy, dirty/filty carpet, shower head covered in filt and grime, 1 smoke detector gone, the other covered by plastic to cover up smoking in the non smoking room. Disgusted, left before staying the night, too nasty to even sleep comfortably"

"This hotel is pretty run down. There is mold on the ceiling in the lobby and the wallpaper is peeling off due to the moisture damage. The room had a funny smell and the carpet was absolutely gross. It looked and felt like it was so caked up with gunk, I was afraid to walk on it barefooted. That was probably the smell. The AC stopped working when we turned it all the way up at around midnight. Told the front desk in the morning and all they said was you should have come told us we would have fixed it. Sure, yeah, have a repair guy in our room or swap rooms in the middle of the night.??? Also in the morning I always pull the sheets to help house keeping and there were cigarette burns all over the mattress that looked like it was 60 years old at least. So obviously we won't be staying at Eco Lodge Inn and Suites in the future. Also advertised as having a gym and hot tub, but there is not."

"Although we had a reservation and confirmation email, they told us that we didn’t have a reservation. We showed them the confirmation and they told us that our check in was actually the day that we were planning to check out. However the confirmation said otherwise. So they made the reservation and checked us in. The room smelt like mold and everything felt moist. My slippers were wet after leaving them out overnight. The breakfast was a joke and their vending machine tends to not work. A sign on it said that it was risky and that they were not giving refunds. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The amount we paid for matched what we got I guess. We will be spending a little more in the future to stay somewhere better."
