Quality Inn & Suites 1590 Interstate 10, Beaumont, TX 77707

"So many issues. I stayed for 3 nights and left early. First, my room was dirty! there was a beer bottle cap from a previous day stains on the beds and every surface just disgusting. Second, twice my room key stopped working and I went downstairs and told the manager, and I was immediately given a new room key by simply telling them my room number. they did not verify the name on my reservation or anything. This is quite alarming for a female solo traveler, staying at a hotel without a lot of men. The breakfast was abysmal. There was gray/green eggs, some white bread, and jam in the fridge. When I took a shower, the fire alarm went off, and I had to go downstairs to get them to shut it off (They have a sign at the front desk directed at employees that they must get up and go to the room to check out the cause of the fire alarm). The mini fridge froze my food. The AC worked but the room smelled bad and was damp/humid. I ended up buying my own dehumidifier and plug in air freshener. I would not recommend staying here. I can’t believe those hotels in business."

"I initially would’ve given this hotel at least a 4, but solely on the night clerk, Navid. Navid helped us with our door key that was giving us trouble and even googled a couple of BBQ restaurants we asked about, explained where they were and said which were best. The hotel is older but has been updated and I mentioned that to Navid. However, the beds are older with poor mattresses and this morning I became more disappointed. There is a strong smell of marijuana as you walk down the hallways to the dining area. I was disappointed by what was there. There was an empty hot serving dish that I was told by the day clerk wasn’t going to be filled because they don’t offer hot breakfast on weekends, but that’s not on their website and the sign says free hot breakfast, which is why I chose this hotel. So, that is false advertising I will report to Choice. We were planning on staying here next month, but will find a better hotel."

"I needed a room that would take cash. although it was pricy for the type of hotel (very basic) . Hilton inn wouldnt let me put a card on file and pay cash so Quality inn it was. There were no roaches as one review stated. It was late when my 3 kids and I got to the hotel and the guy at the front desk made me feel very welcomed and safe. Our room was located just down the hallway and to the right of the front desk. Parking was just off to the right of the entrance so I really did feel safe. The beds and bathrooms were clean. The hotel is older so of course its shows. The beds were spring mattresses but were comfortable the kids liked how bouncy they were lol. Shower had great pressure and hot water. I dont feel that there is anything to complain about unless I wanted to be petty. I gave location 5 stars because it was close to everything I needed, the furthest I had to drive was about 15 minutes and that was to FCI Beaumont. wal-mart is about 12 minutes, Mcdonalds and a cute park near the event center. breakfast was lacking, it says hot breakfast and I would have enjoyed some eggs and sausage at the least but they didnt have that. There was a waffle maker, apple juice,orange juice water and coffee. bagles and bread for toast and cereal. we were on a budget but there is a restraunt right next door, it was busy both day that we were here and looked like it could be a good one if you dont feel like driving. our visits here in Beaumont are short but now I know this is a decent place to stay especially if all you have on you is cash."

"Upon arrival, no one at the front desk. No bell, buzzer, or sign. I walked around to the business center and observed the night clerk performing the ritualistic bowing to the east. It seems that a sign would have been helpful to avoid me interrupting him. The entire facility is in need an upgrade or remodeling. There is a strong smell of mold in the air. In the guest broken tiles in the bathroom, carpeting was stained, bed was worn out, and one pillow had marks on the case. Breakfast was free; however, very limited area to eat. This was fine as there were few options. It was one night, but I won't be back."

"This hotel has been so good to us. We haven’t been the best hotel guest, but they’ve treated us like royalty every night that we’ve had the pleasure of staying here. Sherry, especially, has been and extremely outstanding, welcoming host to us, along with all the other workers that have dealt with us along the way. I recommend this hotel to any travelers coming through beaumont that need a place to stay. This place is not only clean, but has great hospitality."
