"Don't stay here...they don't have breakfast but when you book, it tells you they do....the woman at the front desk doesn't speak English which made it impossible to communicate with her. The son is rude too."

"This place is a hidden gem. The woman at the front desk is a total sweetheart, the room is very clean, the bed is comfy. I don't understand why the place is empty. Right down the road the OYO is full, cost more, and its deplorable. 10/10, this will always be my choice when staying in Deridder from here on out."

"Hello we went to the hotel Americans best value inn in DeRidder, Louisiana to check in whenever I made the reservation they allowed pets. We have two service dogs when I walked in I rang the bell and was going to check in and she was yelling no dogs, no dogs no dogs. I told her that they were service animals and she wanted to see the paper work I turned to walk out to get the papers and she threw a pin at the check in window as I was waiting out ..so we had to turn around and go find another hotel so.This was bad my husband is a disabled veteran and the service dogs have went everywhere with him..I WILL NEVER BOOK HERE AGAIN. RUDE PEOPLE!!"

"Pluses Fairly clean, room bright & well lit. Shower OK, seemed safe. Minuses: freezer of fridge weak, could not make ice / sink dripped furiously / towels like sandpaper/ Beer drinkers next door were rowdy past midnight / pillows wrapped in plastic = "crunchy" / Could not use the heater because it has not been cleaned and smells strongly of Is mold or algae."
