Four Points by Sheraton Alexandria

"It's okay. The room was clean and up to date. The bed was comfortable. My room didn't have any towels when I checked in. The staff at the front desk was okay, but it looked to me they worked with as minimum effort as possible. Maybe it was a busy day, or maybe they just need a good raise, but to me, it didn't feel very hospitable. The area is very boring, nothing around, but fine for one night."

"Customer service on 3/8/24 was awful. We checked in at 3pm. We raised the thermostat in our room and went to dinner. We came from dinner and noticed our room was still freezing. We contacted the front desk and they contacted the maintenance worker. He came by 25 minutes later and checked out the thermostat and said it was broken. He said he would notify the front desk. We continued to stay in the cold room waiting for further instructions. After no instructions came, we called the front desk who said they never heard from the maintenance worker and that they would contact him. We continued to wait. After more time passed we walked to the front desk and asked for a new room. The workers seem agitated by our request and had awful attitudes. This problem could have easily been resolved with better communication amongst the staff. Why have an attitude because we can't be comfortable in a cold room? My mother is 70 years old and I was not going to settle for a room that she's uncomfortable in. We will never stay here again."

"Rhonda is great! We checked in after 11pm and we were greeted by Rhonda who was extremely personable and friendly. She made me literally feel like I was home. I stay at a lot of hotels and I normally feel like everyone is just doing their job at hotels that’s okay but it’s never great. Rhonda made the whole experience 10x better than expected. Considering what we paid for the room everything was better than expected. The beds are comfortable and the whole room appears to have been renovated recently. Great place for the price."

"Perfectly good hotel and for us, it was at a good price. It's nice and has a clean art deco style, but it's certainly not fancy. There were fridges in the rooms, but with a basic room, the only microwave is in the lobby. The bed was comfortable to sleep in, but you can feel and hear the springs more than I'm used to. Still slept fine. Glad we had our own pillows for sleeping, but that's true for me with any hotel. If you want fancy in Alexandria, you may have better luck at another hotel. This one does have Internet TVs in the rooms, so that is nice if you want to watch your shows. Other than that, for us, it was simply a good place to take a break from the road for a night."

"I am from Texas visiting Alexandria with our team, and we stopped at this magnificent hotel. I will tell you, from the service at check-in to checking out has been phenomenal. This hotel has only been open for a couple of months due to renovations and upgrades, but after completion everything is on point. Breakfast was a 5- star- the chef was very helpful and attentive making sure everything was refreshed. Rooms were spacious and very nice. Beds were extremely comfortable. I RECOMMEND this hotel if you are visiting or need to stop in Alexandria, La."
