"We had damage to our roof from the 2 hurricanes in 2020. We ordered our roof and was told it was going to be 6 weeks for the roofing metal to be ready. We waited 2 1/2 months and still nothing. When we would call to check on it, they weren't very nice at all, some worse than others! Since it was taking way too long to get our materials, we started looking elsewhere. We found another company that had our materials ready in 3 days! We called Golden Metals and cancelled our order. But they charged us $1150.00 just to cancel when they hadn't even started on it! It's pretty sad that they can take as long as they want to get our order ready but charges an arm and a leg to cancel! And now the sales manager, Corey, won't even take my phone calls! They will never get another penny of my money!"

"It started out good when I hired a contractor( Jimmy J. Dent) to extend my garage. I had confidence in the friendship we had until the job was completed. I had a issue with the metal peeling , rusting and changing color. I'm not sure if the contractor installed the metal wrong or there was a defect in the metal, but I reached out to both of them several times and I was told it wasn't their fault. I sent several pictures and no one has even came out and looked at it. They told me it was installed on wet concrete and that's what caused it to peel and rust. It was only 5 months after installing it when I noticed. As of now it's not even a year until April 2020 I had it done. I will have to get it repaired myself and PRAY it last for a few more years. NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE !!!"
