Paul Mitchell The School New Orleans

"Me and my girls came to the school on Friday Feb 16. It was me and one of my daughter first time here. (My other daughter had service here before) My first thing was a guy instructor didn’t make her feel comfortable at all. Going to tell her you come get all this services at 2. ( if she wasn’t able to get why make appointment) Then he goes on tell her I hate you, then laughing about after he said that. Didn’t help her being nervous through all this was going down. The ladies that was on her head was really nice and understanding. He told them not to use foil on her head.She paid over 180 for service at a school. . Then her head was on fire with no one to come assist. Then she didn’t get the complete service because of his first comment. (Made her feel uncomfortable) Just know we was not the last one in your school getting service. A lady lifted to get her daughter, she was just getting washed at 430pm. I will be letting the board know that Paul Mitchell School is teaching wrong technique. I have pictures"

"I really liked the energy when I came into this salon and everyone was super friendly. The student working on my hair did a good job at coloring it and it came out a really pretty red. Except I have curly hair which has its struggles I’m aware of that. I just didn’t like that the instructor straightened my hair to cut it because now with my hair curly again the curls aren’t looking how I wanted. I’ve never had someone cut my hair while straight they’ve always cut it when it’s wet. The haircut looked great on my straight hair but not my natural hair. I just don’t think they should train students to cut on straight hair when someone has curly hair because you can’t actually see the way the curls are laying. Id come back for a color but not a haircut."

"Charged $70 for a simple root touch up (more than high end salons) and took 3 hours to complete the service when elsewhere it takes half that time. Ended up just having to tell them to blow it dry and not style it because when i scheduled my appointment for 9:30 i had no idea i would be there until 12:30 and i had plans."

"Honestly, this is one of the best cuts I've gotten in a long time - you definitely wouldn't think it was a student who did it. I've been struggling to find a place in the area. My first place closed permanently after Ida. The last salon I tried...was not a good experience, and certainly wasn't worth the price. My experience today was wonderful, and I felt very taken care of. Lindsey was thorough and made sure I was happy every step of the way. Stephen was guiding the students, overseeing things, and answering any question. I'm pretty low maintenance with my hair, but I still walked out feeling beautiful! I've gotten so many compliments on my hair - not just how healthy it looks, but also how Lindsey styled it. Everyone was so nice, and I will definitely return."
