"This place is AWESOME!! The pop pop shrimp is to die for! The gumbo is delish and the pasta is fantastic. We got the creole combo and the jambalaya is wonderful. It was a great place to eat. If you are in the quarter, you need to visit this place."
"Stopped in for a drink and decided to get the sampler. The gumbo was great- the rest… not so much. The bartender was kind and had good knowledge to share."
"We had a fabulous lunch here. The food was flavorful and well prepared. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was fabulous. You have great views of Jackson Sq for people watching, plus a view of the vendors set up."
"My gumbo was okay but my wife was not happy with her meal. She said it was mostly rice and only had 4 very small shrimp. The rice wasn't cooked all the way and was crunchy. Most places I would try again just to make sure it's not a one off, but my wife has no interest in ever returning."
"$32 before tax for those 2 plates in the pic. Plates untouched. I looked at others plates; You don’t want to see the face of a burger from there, I imagine fast food restaurants can do the same and even better. By the way, it took 45 min for those 2 plates to arrive at our table with 8-10 people in this 20 tables restaurant. Don’t eat there if you can walk 2 min, to reach other restaurants."
