"Quite surprised to find this gem of a restaurant! The food was great with generous portions. The staff was very attentive and professional without being annoying. Seems like more if a local hang out rather than the usual New Orleans touristy place, which is a definite plus! Added bonus, my husband lost his knife the night we were there. He called the next morning to find that they indeed had found it and he could come pick it up anytime!! What a relief since it had been a gift from our son. They also have a little nod to the staff on the menu - you can buy them a beer for $8, which we were happy to do! They deserve it!"

"When we got there we got a table within 20-25 minutes not bad for Valentine night and our order was taken pretty quickly. But when our starters came out it was all down hill from there. I ordered the stuffed portobello mushrooms for $12 thinking it was going to be more than one but it wasn't it was only 1 and it was cold. My husband was like baby it's ok just eat it. So when our main dish came out Once Again all my food was cold. I kept looking for our waitress and she was no where to be found so I had to call the hostess over and tell her that my food was cold. They took it back and it looked like they pushed my fish off the stuffing and put it in the microwave. When our waitress bought it back out she like can you check and see if it good now because I don't want to put my finger in it to see if it was warm or not. Once again she was gone and couldn't find her again because she had never came back to our table to check on us at all. I needed more drink and could not get any because she was lost somewhere. When she finely showed her face she brought the bill. When she took my card and ran it that was the fastest thing that happened the whole night. When she set it down on the table to be signed she asked if we needed any drinks to go to told her No but it would have been Nice to have had drink with our meal."

"The parking lot is always packed so I decided to try something new. First, it is freezing in here. I decided to pack up my food because it got cold by my 4th bite. The staff was friendly. I'll definitely get food here again but as a to go order."

"First time here and I will definitely be back. The crab claws are definitely not enough to share but were excellent. The edamame were different, not my preference but definitely worth a try. The red fish, seafood rice and green beans were spot on!!!! I tried the king cake spring roll and it was ok. It was a little sweet for my taste buds but definitely a nice seasonal dessert."
