IHOP 3830 College Street, Beaumont, TX 77701

"First off, the restaurant is old, smelly, and run-down. The customer service is HORRIBLE. Nobody will even greet you or even nod when you walk in. They all just sat there and stared until I said "I have a mobile order?" The cook was behind the grill eating on something, while handling people's food (gross). Nobody had gloves on. The host or no one standing around even said "thank you" or "have a good one" on the way out. Got on the highway and immediately noticed My Bacon Biscuit was disgusting and only had 1 slice of bacon on the whole thing. I also paid for American cheese, and it had none. So it was just a big dry biscuit with eggs and half of one slice of bacon. The biscuit is also as big as a burger. So imagine that. Anyway, the eggs were not even scrambled. I had driven way too far to even return the food back to the store. The only reason I didn't turn around and go make a big deal, was because I redeemed my pancoins(points) for the meal, and only paid out of pocket for the slice of cheese. Otherwise, I would've had to go and cut up had I paid money for the entire meal, especially by it being 10.99...for a big dry biscuit, with one half a strip of bacon (that was folded to look like 2 strips) and hashbrowns. Maybe the cook ate the other piece while he was back there chewing. Never again..."

"IHOP is wonderfully consistent. Our server was attentive and pleasant. I wouldn't call this 'fine dining', but it isn't meant to be. It's there when you need it, and you can count on the food to be the same as nearly every location."

"I give a 4 only because it's just not a 5 star restaurant. I had an omelet and it was fine. The coffee keeps coming due to the little pot they leave at your table. The service was 5 star. My waitress made sure I had anything I needed and was very nice."

"Best Service Ever!!! I got the best service ever in a very long time at a Not a high end restaurant!! Jamie is a waitress who knows all about customer service and communication! She is quick resourceful and can handle heavy loads of requests without missing a beat! Miss Celia what can I say it has been a long time since I have seen a manager who is a true leader and motivator of her team and also gives it 100% when trying to give the customer exactly what they wanted exactly how they wanted and even more!!! Amazing awesome spectacular both these women need to shoot for a role in leadership be it in the restaurant industry or marketing public relations!!!! Best service ever!!!!!"

"Waitress and the manager were friendly and pleasant yet the establishment is warm with an unpleasant smell. Doesn’t smell like food at all. The kids went to the restroom and they stated that they weren’t clean. Had to change drinks because the lemonade tea tasted like water. We were the only people in the place the whole time we were there. I expected the food to be disgusting but I gave it a chance and it was actually decent. I don’t remember why I stopped going here previously but I prob still won’t come back only bc of the smell, uncleanliness, and warmth of the place. Maybe a revamp of the facility would help. The 3 stars are for the friendliness of the waiter and manager."
