"I originally had my review at one star, but tasted the gumbo beforehand, luckily. I live extremely close and this place was packed tonight, so I pulled in. Got the jambalaya and gumbo (served separate from rice - kudos for that). See below for photos. Gumbo was 4.99 for about a 3rd of a quart. In my opinion, a good deal. Jambalaya was either 6.99 or 7.99, but I honestly don’t remember which one. The good: the gumbo was hot, fresh, and what I believe to be a good portion for a meal for ONLY 5 bucks. You aren’t beating that anywhere. The bad: jambalaya seemed a tad small for the price and was, I kid you not, ICE COLD. I took different bites from all around my serving and they all seemed to be like pulling it out of the fridge, and that is no exaggeration. I look forward to giving this place another shot, especially for their boiled food, but also to try the jambalaya, but you can’t advertise hot food and serve it cold."
