Backspace Bar & Kitchen was such a sweet and cozy spot with comfy booths enough for a group, a real wood-burning fireplace, and the ghosts of literary legends. I can see myself coming back and spending time here. I had the Spicy Honey Chicken Burger that completely distracted me from my writing! It was delicious and could be a little more spicy! "Looks can be deceiving……especially in Nawlins! Walked in 1pm on Friday for lunch. Place was completely dead and was about to turn around and walk out. Then thought for a moment and thought everyone deserves a chance. Well it was worth the change of heart. Pulled pork sandwich and Brussels sprouts were huge highlights. Ordered the house made hibiscus margarita, which was tasty but a little light on the tequila. Overall a great non-Cajun restaurant!"
