"Amazing experience! We booked a late reservation not realizing they closed at 10. Jackie was super attentive, food was peak Cajun, atmosphere was perfect NOLA vibes. Loved everything. Our favorites were the seafood gumbo and red beans and rice. And the chef was kind enough to stay late and turn the fryers back on so we could have the fried bread pudding. We will definitely be back next time we visit!!"
"Visited the restaurant with a couple friends. Service was decent, but not amazing. Appetizer of gator bites, was really just pork sausage. The waiter warned us about this to a degree, but I still expected something closer to the usual gator bites...probably should just advertise it as pork sausage. That being said, it tasted ok. My entree (fried catfish over jambalaya) was excellent and had me regretting I couldn't take the remainder of the dish home. Large portions and I was visiting from out of town. Pricing was reasonable and the atmosphere decent. I would have that entree again, but would likely skip an appetizer (unless with a larger group) since the food portions are large."
"This was such a great experience. The food was delicious. When we arrived, it was really busy and it did take awhile for the food to arrive, but it was totally worth the wait. Our waiter was so nice and attentive, and kept on apologizing for the delay. Definitely plan to visit again before we leave New Orleans!"
"I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at NO Creole, but the poor guy who was our server just wasn't any good at it. We arrived with 30 min left on the happy hour, but he forgot our oysters twice, her sazerac, and dessert. The food came out pretty quickly once the order was made, but it was just a touch odd. He was very nice, though. I had a good gumbo, I kind of prefer the soup style, whereas theirs is more of stew thickness. That is just a matter of preference. The oysters were excellent, both raw and charbroiled."
"We were a bit apprehensive given some bad reviews we saw - but our evening proved them all wrong! The lighting was very nice and our server was super personable (with great recommendation I might add). We ended up having a crab cake for starter 10/10 (filling but I could have licked the plate clean), Pecan crusted redfish 7.5/10 (pecans great, but the potatoes were underwhelming while the green beans were a nice addition), Catfish Decatur 9/10 (very filling, well seasoned, fresh, jambalaya was great in combination). Bananas foster bread pudding was the perfect final touch. We left absolutely stuffed and happy."
