"Food was so good and large portions for the price! Our bartender/waitress Sam was amazing!!! We had the best time talking to her and enjoying time with friends over great food and drinks."
"We have been in New Orleans for a week now, mainly to soak in the atmosphere and sample the unique cuisine. Top of the list has been to taste the seafood, particularly the crawfish and shrimp, and we've had some beauties. Boiler house was definitely NOT one of them. We ordered a pound each to share amongst 3 of us, the headless shrimp and crawfish, one with Cajun sauce, the other with Boiler sauce which was a combo sauce of the other 3. Out come the plates to our great excitement, followed by immediate disbelief. First of all, the quantity we received, particularly of the shrimp did not in any way resemble 1 pound. The shrimp were small, overcooked and dry. The sauce was reasonable, but I can't say anything else about them was good. The crawfish, again, did not resemble 1 pound worth of seafood. Even the largest was smaller than the feast we had at the Original French Market (their crawfish boil is fabulous!) The sauce was unpleasant. A hodgepodge of tastes that didn't know what direction it was going. We had to carefully ration out the meagre portions so we could all have a taste. Our universal opinion was "horrible". In addition we had crab cakes, which on their own were OK, but then topped with Thousand Island dressing you could get from a corner store. We also had the crab Beignets. Gluey inside with no taste of crab , and again, sitting on this same sea of thousand Island dressing. Of all the many meals and restaurants we've dined in this week, this was by far the biggest disappointment, particularly as it had some good reviews and supposedly focusses on their boils. Don't waste your taste buds on this place. There are far better places doing justice to your beautiful seafood."
"First, they were totally awesome when it came to helping us make a reservation for 9 people. Then we got there early because the Uber service was phenomenal and they sat us immediately! We all ordered and the food came out super quick and was delicious. The Staff was super friendly and treated us like regulars. This was one of the most relaxing meals I have ever had that included so many people! I had boiled shrimp and crawfish beignets and I do not regret either choice. So glad we found this place!!!"
"The food is super flavorful. While I don’t eat pork, I do believe the seafood might be cooked in it. The garlic is very tasty and the Cajun isn’t bad. I believe I’ll stick to the garlic sauce at this place because the garlic chunks aren’t very big but there is still a punch. The Carribean butter is nice and sweet. The service was absolutely horrible. I had a young Asian man as a server and while I was he was new, he doesn’t have any intuitive service skills. I had to ask multiple times for water, spoon for my rice, the sauces for my food (because I asked for them on the side), and I essentially did not get any attention- I had to walk to the bar. One woman (I believe she’s a manager) stepped it and the service got better but the young man just wasn’t good to me at all except toward the end. Also, they don’t have wifi and for some reason I didn’t have service to call an Uber. It made me late to my appointment. I would eat here again but only if I had nothing to do afterwards. The fries aren’t shareable size in my opinion and the rice isn’t a lot of either."
"The BEST boil in town! We went as a party of 7 and everyone loved the seafood. I personally enjoyed their mango margaritas and crawfish boil - medium spicy, Cajun seasoned. The right spice for our Indian taste buds! Must visit this place"
