"The Veal Parmesan, meatballs, and red sauce were very good. However, for an upscale Italian restaurant, I was disappointed in the spaghetti. It was very overcooked to the point of being mushy and flavorless. The pasta seemed to be the dehydrated stuff you get from a box at the grocery store, not made fresh. The parmesan cheese was the kind you shake out of a plastic bottle, not grated off a block of Parmesan. The Fish Orleans was a little bland, and the pasta on that dish was overcooked. The "freshly cooked" bread wasn't warm. The mixed drinks were good. Our server, Courtney, was fantastic. The bathrooms are not very nice. My glass had a large lipstick stain on it from a previous guest, but I understand it can be difficult to remove lipstick."
"Made reservations over a month ago and was excited to visit an old time favorite... I got the scallop seafood pasta which was excellent and my husband miss read the menu and ordered Fried stuffed crab claws... he admitted his mistake, and the waitress said we could only exchange it for something else.... a little disappointing since I always viewed this as a really upscale restaurant. My dinner was absolutely delicious, but would not go back because of the service . We asked for bottled water, and it was delivered, and the old waters were never removed from our table . There was a large party next to us who had an excellent server, and I kept wishing that we had her. She visited the table so many more times than our server. It's amazing that Service can make or break a restaurant visit and not did for us."
"I came for the BBQ shrimp and was not disappointed. Had the lunch version in a sandwich. Still got a sleeve of fresh French bread and top notch service."
"Stopped in for happy hour on a Tuesday. $6 Old Fashioneds using Buffalo Trace was a great way to start. Got fried calamari HO special for $6, cup of gumbo and finished with the BBQ Shrimp. Everything was great and friendly service."
