"Paladar is my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. The food is inventive and always perfect. Service is fantastic, and while the place has a fantastic ambiance, it's not pretentious at all. I send any local or tourist here first."

"Kinda of an unpleasant experience. We had made reservations 2 weeks prior for brunch. We arrived when they opened at 11 & the host sat our party of 4 upstairs near the wait staff cleaning station. I had my back to the bus tub directly behind me. Throughout the meal, servers would toss soiled dishware behind me making it difficult to follow the table conversation. Mind you the restaurant remained fairly empty while we were there. The food was good. We did have to wait for the one of the entrees & since the kitchen did not heat up the plates before serving, yes all the food was cold! What happened next was a first for me. The female wait person padded the tip! She forged the tip to inflate the total. The manager said he would take it off, but never did. Thankfully my CC company took off the extra charge. Diners take heed & dine somewhere else."

"Paladar has an eclectic menu that includes salad, pizza, rabbit, and steak. The wine menu is quite extensive, but the drink menu is small (perhaps only a dozen specialty cocktails but they do have a full bar). The atmosphere is industrial-chic with exposed brickwork mixed with renovated fixtures."

"It's not a typical restaurant you'd find in New Orleans. The food was excellent, with generous serving sizes. I ordered the Wagyu flat iron steak and the roasted mushroom pizza. The flat iron steak was decadent, and the pizza had a unique flavor - I'll definitely try it again! Be sure to make a reservation before coming because it gets busy quickly. The second floor is a good dining spot; the noise is lesser, allowing for better conversation. The service was okay; it took a while before they served the meal."

"Paladar had been on our radar for quite some time, but for some reason we had never made it there. Which is something that's unfortunate, because I would have loved to have this restaurant in my love earlier. The space is beautiful, with leather booths and pretty tables surrounding the kitchen and bar. The drinks are great and the food is even better. We tried some of their pastas and pizzas, all equally amazing, together with very tasty desserts and appetizers. All this served by very friendly and aware staff. And on top of this, the food is very affordable! We had a great evening, with great atmosphere and Paladar will likely be one of our regular restaurants."
