"Very busy restaurant, but we still received great service and a hot, delicious meal."

"Ate with my wife at the China Doll, save your money. We ordered a fried appetizer that came to the table within minutes. Tasted like it was cooked earlier and reheated, outside was hot and inside was lukewarm. We order a plate to share and a soup. The food taste like it was yesterday's leftovers. Soup was good, but nothing special. There were not many diners in the restaurant with us. Service was good and quick to bring food and check on us several time. The restaurant is aged and doesn't look like it has been updated in a while. Seemed like a lot of to go orders. This may be a reason for not investing in a remodel. Overall, we will not be revisiting this establishment."

"Pretty good. Fresh taste not nearly as salty as others. Egg roll is homemade loaded with shrimp and pork. Purchased My "standard" curry chicken, extra hot. As a chilly head I rate it mild. Portion size is huge IMO. The only negative thing was the egg roll was packed inside the package and not separate. When the takeout box leaned the sauce for the main dish soaked the egg roll. But the egg roll was...still good.. just mushy on the outside."

"I wish the food ,matched the prices! I am not a cheap person , & I don't mind spending money to eat out @times ,but I want the quality to match the prices ! 10/19/23 Husband & I went to china Doll today @ lunchtime & he said " The food was better " & I agree .They give large portions of food , the parking is good , The building is larger, the waiting lines are long, and over the years, some redecorating has been done, we find the food quality is inconsistent! as an original, long-term customer from time- time I drop in b/c I love their Empress Lo mein & Shrimp Fried Rice. 12/05/23 my granddaughter treated me to China Doll today & we had an order of Crab Rangoon, ChoChos, Egg Rolls, Chicken & Broccoli,W/ Shrimp fried rice & Boneless Fried Chicken W/ Shrimp Fried rice TakeOut & we really enjoyed ourselves. Friday 12/29/23 We went to order Takeout @ China Doll .The Boneless Fried Chicken W/Double Fried Rice & Vegetables on the side was very good .The portion was generous, and I ❤️ the ChoChos W/ sweet sauce. The place was full w/ a line of people walking in door. It was a welcome change from Christmas leftovers."
