"I eat out a lot. (Probably too much). I've been all over the west bank and to many restaurants in New Orleans. So, when I say that the place is awesome, you know where I'm coming from. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the price were all above and beyond!! I had the pasta, my wife the pork chops, amlnd my son a catfish poboy. Throughout the meal, we were commenting how great everything tasted. Don't go there! We don't want it to be crowded when we go back. (Kinda selfish huh?)"
"My husband and I just moved to town, and this is one of the first places we’ve gone to. It seemed like a small, quaint place! We went in and got to pick our own table. Our server, Mason, was so sweet and attentive! He recommended his favorites to us, and they did not disappoint! I never order meatloaf, but I took his advice. It was so good! Tons of flavor and very moist! My husband got the chef special gumbo and fried catfish! He loved it as well. Between the food and service, we will definitely be returning soon and often! Thanks to Mason for making the evening even better through your service!"
"LOVE this place. The waiter is always so friendly. The food is amazing as well, it represents its name well, home style cooking. I love their fried catfish(so flaky and moist) and their meatloaf. They’re sides are good too! Prices are also affordable. You gotta stop by!"
"Ordered via Door Dash the Shrimp garlic noodles and fried okra. Let me say it’s was F’ing great!!!!! Just what the food doctor prescribed to me that I needed on the road. I’ve never ordered anything fried for delivery because I know it can get soggy. I ordered fried okra and these people cut a hole in the container to release the moisture. That’s what you call knowing how food should be done and delivered the right way. Sooooo when I come back to this area I’ll order again and try something different."
"The service was excellent. The server gave us plenty of options and he was on point and made our experience of the place elevated. He was attentive and gauged our needs perfectly. The shrimp pasta was delicious 9/10 and the meatloaf burger which is their speciality was 8/10 can’t go wrong with either. We also greatly enjoyed the crab rangoons as well."
