"Just had the best ribeye in the city. I asked them to cook my ribeye in olive oil and medium well. I didn’t expect it to me this good. When my food got to the table, my ribeye was sizzling hard for 5 mins. See the video yourself. It was cooked really well and tasted so amazing. I really enjoyed every bite of this ribeye."
"This place is a hidden gem! We went here to celebrate our Anniversary & it did not disappoint. Cozy with romantic lighting, great music going on in the background. Waitress was friendly and offered great suggestions for our 1st time. Started with fried calamari. Surprisingly, they had amazing steak & crab cakes. I enjoyed eggplant parmesan stacked like lasagna. We ate too much & still had food to take home."
"This restaurant has a big green and red sign out front that you cannot miss. There are no windows and the glass panels on the door do not reveal a thing. I walked boldly to the bar and there were a couple of stools available. The bartender recommended a delicious red wine called Bonanza and the capellini. I had half garlic, half cheese bread, dry and crusty as Italian loaves go, they could have been a lil more generous with the garlic and the cheese! The capellini with red and white sauce was delicious. I also tried the mozzarella sticks which were perfectly done and not greasy. The ambiance is on the dark side and it seems to be quite a busy spot -- event though it doesn't ever look like it's open. I'll need to come back and try the pizza too see how it matches up to NYC pizza."
"This is my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. I drive an hour just to eat at this restaurant. The service is never bad and the food is always great. I can’t recommend this place enough. Then, after you eat your appetizer and main course, save room for dessert, and walk a few doors down to Angelo Brocato."
"This restaurant opened in 1957 and the authenticity shows. The food tasted like an Italian grandmother's cooking delicious and filled with love. From the outside, it may seem a little iffy but once inside you are immediately transported to little Italy in New York's Lower East Side except that it's in New Orleans. Loved the vibe, the food, and the people."
