"Such a neat environment, live band was playing and the dance floor was live! The food was excellent! Our waitress Mrs Jay was very nice as well."
"Tried the gater bites for the first time. Loved them. Will definitely have those again. Had pats Cajun Chow Chow which they made there and loved it so much bought 2 bottles. Found the place to be pricey but worth it. Staff was very nice."
"Amazing! A must! This casual dining restaurant has something for everyone! I had the fried shrimp plate, it was to die for! It was a generous portion, served piping hot. Our waitress was on the ball! She was very attentive without lingering. Thanks for a wonderful meal!"
"We were a little concerned about all of the cats in the parking lot, but what better place for cats to catch a meal of leftovers than outside a place like this! The service was great and the food and view was amazing! I definitely recommend the fried catfish, and the shrimp etouffee was delicious! We will definitely stop here again."
"I was directed here by the folks at the nearby welcome center. The only thing I asked them, was "is there somewhere nearby I can try some authentic Louisiana food?" Without hesitating he directed me to Pats restaurant in Henderson, Louisiana. What he didn't mention is that the reason Henderson is a town is because of Pat, the man who started this restaurant, became mayor, and then pushed for the town to become famous for its Cajun food. A floating bar and dancehall, as well as the restaurant on solid ground, right on the Bayou... This was absolutely what I had hoped still existed in Louisiana. The jambalaya was amazing, hush puppies and crab cakes to die for, and for someone who has never tried alligator until today, it was perfect! Heidi was so willing to talk about the history of not only Henderson but the restaurant itself, so welcoming and friendly. If you're driving by looking for somewhere to eat you definitely have to, without a doubt, stop at Pat's restaurant. I can't see how you could possibly be disappointed. Don't forget to save room for that bread pudding!"
