"My friend and I were on our way to another restaurant when we saw this one. We were intrigued by it being clean food and wanted to try it. I had the cheese assortment and the squash soup. Each bite felt dreamy and i fully savored it. The food had the texture and distinct rich flavors of a five star NOLA restaurant. We absolutely loved the atmosphere, the staff (SUPER wonderful staff), and the food was outstanding. What a delight to find vegan fine dining in Baton Rouge. They also have a monthly tea which we plan to go to. Great job!!!"

"I have visited The Plantry Cafe for lunch and dinner and both experiences have exceeded my expectations. From the whimsical ambience, quality of the food, and the overall attention to detail, this is a restaurant you don't want to miss! Yes, some may consider the menu items to be pricey, but you're paying for top-notch ingredients that are both delicious and sourced from trustworthy partners. One of my favorite aspects about this restaurant is how personable and passionate the owner is about her food and staff. Not only does she introduce herself to her diners, but she's willing to provide a thorough answer to any questions you may have. I will definitely return to one of my new favorite places in town & continue to spread the word!"

"OBSESSED with the environment!!! Our service was perfect! The food was good. We got the French toast/banana dessert to go($18) and it was disappointing. I wish they’d not show that they charge $1 each for tap water, and a 2% fee for using a credit card. Just add it into the food so it doesn’t feel nickel and dimed. I think this place will Continue to improve because you can see the love and attention given to every detail. Please try out this unique eatery!!!"

"I recently visited The Plantry Cafe and it was a really pleasant experience. The cafe has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. The staff were all super friendly adding to the overall warm vibe of the place. The food was quite impressive and I am not even close to being vegan. I particularly enjoyed the Capri sandwich which included marinated artichoke, cashew mozzarella, tomato, basil, roasted red and yellow pepper pesto, grilled balsamic mushrooms. Overall, The Plantry Cafe delivers a wonderful dining experience. It’s a place I’d happily recommend to friends and visit again. It deserves a well-earned five stars for its great food, perfect atmosphere, and friendly service. Katherine, the owner, is a very lovely lady and an exceptional conversationalist who appears to have put an enormous amount of time into this place. It definitely shows."

"Fiancé and I decided to give this place a try. We were initially a little hesitant because of price point and plant based foods can be hit or miss but it was spectacular and surpassed our expectations! It’s a fantastic spot for a date night. Every detail of the atmosphere is carefully thought out. The menu is on the smaller side but we tried the acorn squash risotto, beet carpaccio, harecuterie sampler, and mushroom pâté. Every dish was well balanced, thoughtful, and flavorful. It’s a place to go and really savor each bite. We particularly enjoyed the harecuterie and mushroom pâté. Highly recommend giving Plantry a try! Haven’t seen anything else close to this in BR yet. (We don’t have any dietary restrictions, just enjoy good food)"
