"Great local diner. Great good at good prices. Cajun seasoned salt on the table, hot coffee, and faith based signs inside and out. As a person not originally from the south, places like this give me hope. A publicly Christian diner would never survive the madness on the west coast."

"The food is off the chain. I had the fried fish and shrimp combo. There was plenty of truck parking when I got there, around 8:00 PM. There was a bad traffic jam on I-10. So I stopped for the night. The shower room was scary. Somebody else's hair in the sink. Everything else was clean, just old, rusty, and scary looking. The water worked good. No scalding, good pressure. There's all kinds of snacks and drinks in the store part."

"I have dined here many times over the past five years however, the place is going down. The inside is not clean. Service is next to horrible and the quality of the food is definitely lacking. I realize times are hard and help is short but I ordered a basket of fried shrimp, which was a more expensive item, and they were air fried to death. They were so dry it out and chewy. I felt like I was eating a bait shrimp!! Apparently the manager was having to work that day or perhaps she was the owner. I brought this to her attention, and was never offered a discount or for the item to be replaced. I will not recommend this diner to anyone nor will I probably be back."

"Ok..... this is not your everyday truck stop! Driving in, you get the truck stop vibe, but walking in you instantly are old school diner feal! Place was super clean, and the staff was frendly as can be. Saying that the food just stole the show! Everything was just cooked to perfection, and I kept wanting another bite. Give this place a chance, and you will not be surprised. Absolutely delicious! Only recommendations i would have is I had to eat my gumbo with a tea spoon.... a good soup spoon would have just put this over the top!"

"I ordered liver and onions. It was OK. Let the picture speak for itself. I was hungry, it was late, and this was the only late night option besides Waffle House in the area. The server was tired, ready to go home, and more concerned with counting the drawer to get off shift. I had to ask the cook to bring me silverware and hot sauce after he brought me my plate of food. The appearance of everything in front of the counter was nice and clean. There was some clutter behind the counter and eye sorers."
