"my sister and I came to the island for her birthday and ate at the lighthouse. our server, Tony was the only one working other than cook. he was swamped! he was so amazing tho. he kept apologizing and we told him not to worry. food was good, but Tony was awesome."

"I will say that I called ahead to see if they had oysters on the half shell and she told me they had a dozen and a half, and reserved a dozen (I'd asked for the entire dozen and a half) for us. When the other table that ce in rejected the other half dozen, we got those too. Beyond that, the food was medicare and their seafood platter done blackened is rather small. Our waitress did her job, but not much personality, I wish we'd gotten the waiter for the table next to us. Good for a quick bite, but not the best."

"This is our first time visiting Grand Isle. We were told this was the best restaurant to try out! We got in late so just ordered it to go! Wow!! The food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable! 2 lobster tails for $26 you can’t beat and they were good size! The crab cake was amazing! The shrimp amazing! They did forget my shrimp cocktail with this order but included the cocktail sauce which wasn’t great, but I will be eating there again 100% while I am here this week! It was so good I might actually eat there several times hahaha! Definitely recommend!!! 5 stars for sure!!"

"I had a really delicious broiled seafood platter there on a recent night. The only thing that was iffy was the softshell crab. I added a broiled lobster tail, which was also delicious. The baked potato was good and had real bacon topping. Our server was very prompt and polite and made us great lemon drop shots when a torrential downpour kept us from leaving."
