"Love the bartender. The hostess absolutely sucks. In order to go and to a to go order you have to go to bar tender to order when she has 13 people she is waiting on and the hostess is sitting behind a counter looking at her phone. When we first arrived she said it was going to be 15 minute wait when there was 14 tables open. They need to do better with the customer service on the to go orders"
"Good atmosphere food was good. Give big portions. We had potato skins and crawfish queso for appetizer. Meat lovers pizza, and Caesar salad for dinner. Very good place to catch a quick bite."
"We had to wait about 40 minutes for our table on Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m. but in all fairness we could have reserved a table and it was a particularly busy night at the Racetrack so I didn’t mind the wait. They took my cell # and called me when our table for 2 was ready. Ethan was our server. He was excellent! If I go back I will request him. We had the crawfish queso dip as an appetizer. The dip was very rich and creamy but the tortilla chips was a tad stale. My husband and I split the blackened chicken burger which was moist and flavorful. I ordered Red velvet cake for desert which I didn’t even finish eating. It was dense and tasted like it just came out of the freezer and heated up just prior to plating it. It’s worth a second try but I’ll definitely pass on desert the next time."
"We had amazing service from Bre. She was super attentive, refilled our drinks without asking. Asked us at least 8 times if everything was okay and we were at the restaurant for less than an hour, if we needed anything else. She asked us if we wanted to go drinks prior to giving us our bill. Now the food is delicious. You wouldn't think a restaurant inside a casino but this one, this one is delicious. We tried the boudin egg rolls it wasn't overly spicy but all of he flavors with the Chipotle ranch made a great combo. Had the raspberry lemon drop and the bartender made it to perfection. We also had the chicken and sausage gumbo and fried fish platter all of it was too much food but all of it was amazing. Would highly recommend."
"This is a brand new restaurant located in the Delta Downs Casino. Okay, I’ll start with the good first. The food was really good. We tried the Crawfish Queso and Boudin Egg Rolls. Both were excellent. When you dipped the Boudin Egg Roll into the Crawfish Queso it tasted like a Crawfish Pistolette. Our server Jessica was attentive and friendly. Now on to the bad. They sat us by the host stand and the three females standing there just sat there and complained about everything while they were not doing anything. The biggest complaint was that they don’t offer to go orders and can’t even tell me why. It’s Tuesday night at 9pm and this place and the steakhouse was the only two restaurants open at the time. I was told that you can’t even order your food to go. Why???? I’m staying in the hotel and don’t want to eat in your restaurant. I want to eat in my room. These cajun people who run these places use terrible logic and make bad policies. I literally saw 4 sets of customers ask to order to go and were all denied. All 4 chose to leave. I was only there about 40 minutes so how many other people left because of this? Now get this, you can take your leftovers with you but they won’t let you order to go. Kind of silly if you ask me. Now this is ran by the same management who manage the security at Delta Downs who 2 weeks ago told me I couldn’t bring a fountain drink from a convenient store into the casino because I didn’t buy it from them. They rather worry making $3 off me on a soda then let me spend the $1,000 in my pocket. No worries Delta Downs, I took advantage of your free room and spent my money at Cash Magic down the street. Your loss, not mine. Higher smarter people then these trailer park cajuns and realize your policies suck."
