"What can you say? I spent an hour in this place last night. Unrealistic time to expect to wait for a sandwich, salad and soup. With that hour I could have bought all of the ingredients, made everything myself in less time than this crew of 5-6 individuals. This place was not that busy. They were out of ham, broccoli & cheese soup, mac n cheese. Most of their dishes include some type of ham!!!! What functional adult can't figure out to visit the Sam's across the street to get some Black Forest Ham? On top of that, the "hot" sandwich was cold & soggy, soup was cold, didn't even fill the soup container halfway. I live within 5 minutes drive of the location."
"We had a very long wait even though the restaurant was almost empty. Placed table side order and 2 orders were received but 3rd had to wait another 5 minutes. Had appetizer brought out with all other food and drinks were the last thing delivered. Sandwich ordered did not have all the ingredients on it. They were out of potatoes."
"pretty sure the lady didn’t feel like working today , horrible attitude, i literally caught a stomach virus from eating here , forgot my carrot cake , didn’t follow directions with my order. You could be standing there waiting to order and the workers will walk RIGHT PAST YOU like not even a “ I’ll be right with you” or “ just one moment “. After I ate here my mom woke up feeling like she had a stomach bug & here I am still recovering from one, had to miss out on my OWN JOB because this place gave me a stomach bug."
"Two stars is very generous, because I still have the Christmas spirit. It's a shame, the food was really good and nicely presented. Having said that, I would only visit if you have a LOT of time to kill. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, maybe 5 tables filled. The line to order, with 3 ahead of us, took 15 minutes. We sit down, and 30 minutes later my wife's food is brought out. We wait another 15 minutes, and I still haven't been served. We have been there an hour at this point. My wife looks at the counter, and sees my plate sitting there. Who knows how long it's been there, but there is no indication that anyone is in a hurry to bring it out. My wife then goes to the counter, asks if that is for us, and then is handed the plate. No apology. It's not a matter of being understaffed or overtasked, just a lack of motivation. This could be a great place, the food is fantastic, but until management can motivate improvement of the service (or there is a management change, which is probably more appropriate), we won't be back. There are plenty of other places that actually appreciate our business."
