"Best food around. We drove an hour to Shreveport to eat here and did not regret it. Staff was super nice and made sure all of our food was made exactly how we liked it. All breading on fried foods was amazing it could be eaten by itself. Shrimp was seasoned perfectly. We had a birthday in our party and the owner gave us beignets that were the best I have ever tasted."

"LarryP's comes to our monthly neighborhood food truck night about 3-4 times per year. Each time they don't disappoint as their food is always great. I even had him cater my promotion ceremony last year. Larry and crew took care of the setup and had everything we needed to serve a meal for the guests. All guests agreed the gumbo and boiled shrimp were on point! It was a great Louisiana treat for my family who were in town from New York and Pennsylvania."

"We got Beignets, Crawfish Étouffée, Crawfish Mac and Cheese, and the Fried Catfish with Crawfish Étouffée. Overall the food was good. The best part was the Crawfish Mac&Cheese and Beignets. The Étouffée was a bit on the saltier side so we later had to get a soda. The service was nice where the staff explained the menu and gave some recommendations. He even held the beignets until we finished our meal, which was very considerate of him to do so. We did get to see Larry P, but he didn’t greet us. So unfortunately we didn’t get the full experience like some customers had. He did seem friendly as he was talking to other customers when my husband and I walked in. Clean environment and music is at an enjoyable loudness. I would go again!"

"Been going here for a long time as a food truck and this new brick and mortar restaurant is going to kill my bank account! Everything is delicious! The shrimp remoulade poboy with fried green tomatoes was amazing! But y’all the roast beef poboy is the best thing I swear!! 10/10 and I will DEFINITELY be back for more!!"

"I had the sloppy roast beef po-boy on a Friday and was back on Saturday for another one. It’s 90 degrees and Larry P’s having a standing restaurant location makes me so ready for gumbo season. The food is great, and the people are even better. Do not miss the opportunity to go and get some of the best Cajun/Louisiana food Shreveport has to offer."
