"Update on this Bistro, March 2024- everything is wonderful. Fish and Chips are back on the lunch menu. The specials and happy hours are good. If it is a good charcuterie you seek, look elsewhere as the cheeseboard is no longer available. However, you could always do the charcuterie at one location and then come for the movie and theater food. The gumbo seems to not be listed(I loved the ya-ya, my sister loved the seafood) The menue is more streamlined then before. I'm going to increase the rating but one star because fish and chips at lunch, though I must comment that portion sizes have decreased by quite a bit. The new dining area looks beautiful. Based on my recent experience at lunch this past Friday, I am editing my review. I love the convenience of this location. I live downtown. I really wish Fish and Chips were available for lunch. Alas, no. My visits are less frequent because I get my fish and chips fix at another place down the street. This place continues to have some of the best gumbo. I absolutely love the duck nachos. The macaroni and cheese side dish is superb. There are lunch specials, but not on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, so you want to call in to see what's what before you come. There was no creme brule. (Sadness...we skipped dessert) This place remains one of my favorites, and I always bring out-of-town guests here at some point during their visit. Of course, Downtown has many wonderful restaurants and hidden gems. I'll review those, as well. My rating my adjust, based on the curve."

"Group of old friends met for lunch. The food was terrific! Everyone (8 of us) totally enjoyed our choices. Our waitress, Stephanie, was great! And then, dessert! Several to pass around. I will definitely go back and take my husband next time!"

"Where do I begin, been wanting to try this place for awhile. Only heard great things about it. We started off with the duck nachos which I was skeptical about. Totally worth every penny. The flavor is amazing. Will definitely be getting them again. Then I got Cajun pasta for dinner. Huge portions and great dish. We also got the lemon basil chicken. Omg. I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out they put drugs in it. Hands down the best chicken I’ve ever had. I can’t describe it in words. Everyone needs to try the chicken once in their life. Larry (the chef) definitely knows what he’s doing. Great service from our waitress heather. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend."
