"This place literally offer my son and I a safe haven when we needed one. We almost encountered a mugging while walking downtown to the restaurant and ducked inside just in time. Not only did the staff notice our upset and care for us in that way, but one of them walked us to our car to make sure we got there safely! To say that these folks go above and beyond is a dramatic understatement!! ALSO they have great food and drinks too!! I couldn’t be more grateful for their kindness and delicious cuisine!!"

"I ordered my 2nd old fashioned and received a berry something. Not impressed. Also, for a brunch, my eggs scrambled soft was harder than burnt toast I received. The bar crew was using profanity out loud in reference to wrong orders and food being brought back. This was a katzenjammer of an experience and will not return. Our waitstaff was sorrowful in her continued efforts to get it right and I appreciate her for that."

"Recommend My Wife and I went this evening on a whim after a mini-roadtrip and were more than pleased. We were greeted right away by staff and chose to eat dinner while enjoying a couple of games of pool. There are two pool tables, both with clean and unmarred felt, my only criticism being that the bumpers should probably be evaluated soon as we saw some dead zones. Not to the point of affecting the game too badly though and the tables are clearly being taken care of. Our server was great and she took good care of us. We both had the blackened chicken alfredo and I also had a mixed drink called (If memory serves) the lemon pound cake which was excellent. Overall great experience and a huge thank you to all of the staff, front and back of house included! The next time we are in Shreveport we will definitely drop in."

"This place was so good. We had a nice appetizer and a good drink. The downside was after our appetizer was gone when we thought we would be getting our food any minute. Our waitress let us know one of our meals was unavailable. She didn't word it very clearly either. That was frustrating. Other than that, it was a great night out in a new town."
