"Stopped in on my way through town, very much with the extra five minutes driving. Veggies were fresh and very well cooked. Fried chicken and catfish were great. Large portions. Best two items were the hull peas and the catfish."

"This place is very cozy. The food is always really good. Diner/home cooking type food. The staff are all very nice. I just wish they were in a better location. The parking is usually full even though it's not parking for people at the location."

"Great place for lunch. Everything was good but I wish the sides were a little hotter. Pork chop had great flavor but fell apart real easily. Cornbread was dry too. Good prices though."

"Tried to follow Apple Maps directions to this place, and it got me lost- lol. Luckily, someone in our car located it as we drove past following the Maps direction. This is a little gem located across from Panola College. They have daily lunch specials. Husband had the chicken fried steak and he cant wait to get back to it again. Said it was in the top 3 he has ever had and he is a fanatic for CFS. Meatloaf was okay, but not the best i have had. Their veggie sides are home cooked and are good. Go hungry, or be ready to bring back left overs. Great service for how packed the facility was. Outside parking can be an issue as this is a little gem, but is worth it. They do carry out too."
