Great Wall Chinese Restaurant

"ABSOLUTELY THE BEST Chinese food in Shreveport and surrounding areas. All of their food is homemade and fresh. Their dumplings (Pot stickers) are the best I've ever had. I normally order at least 6 orders to take back to Texas with me. Also, their egg drop soup is amazing as well and not like the soup you get on buffets."

"We just rolled into town headed to Texas from Georgia for Christmas. This area is where we stopped for a nights rest. We were hungry and didn’t want the usual hamburger or pizza but something we could bring back to the room and eat. After looking at what the area had to offer Mongolian beef and egg drop soup sounded awesome. We ordered it and picked it up and the service was very nice and fast. The food was great and I would definitely recommend!"

"Very clean interior. Waitress was very attentive and checked on us frequently. Very generous serving of our meals. Grateful for to-go boxes. Food was delicious, a little salty tasting but otherwise very good. Would definitely come back again."

"We used to dine here all the time but quit going when the world shut down. Last night we went here for the first time in a long time and there wasn’t any other dine in patrons except us. I’m not sure what has changed but this place used to be packed. The prices have gotten high but that is literally everywhere! The paper plate dining is a turn off so they may be part of the problem. The hot and sour soup is better than anyone else’s in town that I have tried. I could eat two bowls of it. Make sure if you ask for a complete plate that you understand if they ask you for egg roll and you say yes that you will not be getting a crab Rangoon as listed on the menu. The fried rice is one of the worst in town I would not recommend it. I got the Mongolian beef and the flavor is delicious except for the fact that it is extremely spicy. I boxed mine up to take home to my husband. The dumplings are big but should be for $10.95 and I asked for fried and I’m pretty sure they were steamed. I didn’t care for their texture nor taste but the kids seemed to like them. I’ll go back for the soup and maybe some sesame chicken in the future."

"Will we return? HECK YES! Best fried rice and noodles around! It is literally a little great “hole in the wall” Great Wall! We live in east Texas and used to get the best fried rice from Henderson and that place has since shut down due to them retiring and we have not found rice that good until now! Now I wish we traveled t Shreveport more often. Haha! But if you’re looking for good food, this is the place to go!"
