"Matthews Beach does have a nice swimming area and the playground is fun. Giant trees all over the park and the Burke Gilman Trail right next to it are great. The only downside, which unfortunately makes it a 3 stars for me, is the grassy area to hang out in when not swimming is always covered in goose and duck poo. Yuck."

"Decent park with breathtaking views. Has a pretty big kids area and a basketball half court. Decent number of parking spots which could busy in peak season. There's a beach of course. Did see a lot of ducks and crows which some of the other reviews have commented on."
