"I’ve been coming to the Vashon Athletic Club since the 90’s. And although I currently don’t live on Vashon, every time I come back for a visit there is something else that has been upgraded in the club. The facilities are very versatile and no matter what type of workout you’re looking for, the VAC probably has the space and equipment for you. The indoor pool area (with hot tub and cold plunge), surrounded by trees, is serene. Nick and Sarah are amazing owners and I’m grateful for everything they’ve done with the club!!"

"It has all the machines, weights, and workout spaces you could hope for, as well as sauna, hot tub, and a lovely saline pool. They put a lot of effort into managing the heating and cooling of the work out areas, which is nice."

"Amazing family owned gym on the beautiful Vashon Island. Very well run and clean. Relax in the jacuzzi or sauna after a swim in the saltwater pool. There is weight equipment for advanced lifters and is also a wonderful place when you are just getting started or back at it. Lots of well qualified trainers too and classes for everyones fitness goals. Great place to drop in when on vacation and get a work out and some relaxation in!"

"This gym is great! There are Gym only, Pool only and Total gym memberships. There's discounts if you work in certain places around the island. The pool is, if I remember correctly, 30% chlorine and 70% salt water and is heated. This gym has a little something for everyone. If you love weight lifting, need personal training, like zumba, yoga, calisthenics or swimming there's definitely something to accommodate you. I have only been going here about a month, but come check it out if you've been thinking about it. There is information you can take home for classes, personal training, pricing and pool scheduling. This means you can go home and make an educated decision without pressure. The staff are all friendly and the place is maintained clean. Again, don't take my word for it, come check it out. Edit, per Google request. Still great and enjoying it. I need to hit the pool, paying, but not going yet"

"Nice place, great community feel. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall there is a bit of renovation going on, and the place looks good. The pool area needs some attention but is functional.They have a dry hot sauna that was new at the time of my visit. Good selection of gym equipment with both machines and free weights available. There are also areas to stretch and you can work with foam blocks and exercise balls in the sane area. They provide plenty of classes and offer personal trainers. Lockers are available as are towel rentals. Parking is available in the front and around the back as well."
