"Spectator seating is usually crowded, to sometimes even get a seat you have to camp out before the doors open. Big pool though and competitions seem to be well organized. Seating is an issue across the board for many pools in Oregon. Hopefully, the next big pool built will accommodate more seating and more room for teams, maybe big enough to have the Olympics hosted right here I'm Oregon! And to the crabby guy who is frustrated over "the club" getting the deeper lanes. Most swim teams and swim clubs are not operated under the pool's administration. They are a separate entity operated by some paid, mostly volunteer board that is unasscociated with the pool. Those swim clubs have to rent the space from the pool for their swimmers to practice. So, the lanes are blocked off due to the fact that extra money was paid to reserve and exclusively use those lanes. There are plenty of other times to swim that are not during swim team/club practice."
"Tualitin Hills explained to us that, since we had Covid-19, we would be able to cancel our class and get a refund with a doctor's note. It took forever for Kaiser to send us a doctor's note - several weeks. When we tried to get a refund, we were told that they could refund us ONLY for the days when the doctor's note said we had Covid-19. Wish they would have explained this clearly. They continue to do class sign-ups with the discriminatory "first person to sign up wins", really turns people off. Set up a lottery system. Their systems are broken, discriminate against the poor, and do not take into account extenuating circumstances. A bloated bureaucracy. It's not the 1980s anymore. Do better."
"I used to love this place so much back in the day. Now, management is horrible. I'm a 6”2 guy who has been swimming most of my life, and it's very uncomfortable for to swim at 4ft. It's for the club only. What club? Half of the pool is empty after 8. LET PUBLIC PEOPLE SWIM AT DEEPER LINES. It was a horrible experience, and it has been going on and on for months now"
"I love this wonderful aquatic center, and I take classes here Monday through Friday. The pool itself is enormous, so there is plenty of space between others when you're in the water. There's a large shower & changing area that is clean & bright. Everyone wears a mask when they are not in the pool, including instructors & lifeguards. Coming here is the best part of my day!"
"Great facility with tennis courts, baseball fields, soccer field, basketball courts, two playgrounds. Clean ,huge 50 meter 13'6" pool where we attended our USAA meet and they could have open to the public as the same time."
