"I took my little dog in yesterday because he seemed constipated and uncomfortable, but within a couple minutes they said he was in bad shape, bleeding internally and beyond their abilities. They directed me to a GREAT emergency clinic, (Veterinary Emergency Group in Lynnwood) and sent me away without a bill! So glad they recognized a big problem helped get me to the right place!"
"I took my senior grand kitty in to VCA in December because of a skin condition. I had a very pleasant experience w the vet herself.. kind and compassionate so when my grand kitty started to decline rapidly, they were the first vet that I thought of. I knew they opened at 7 a.m so I began calling at 7:02. The phone was picked up then a couple seconds later was hung up. I called again, same thing happened again, a total of 3 times. My fourth call receptionist answered and stated she was running a little late because of the cold/icy weather and she hadn't had time to put her stuff down yet.... I explained the situation and was able to get an appt at 8 a.m! Which settled my panick a little. When I got there, grand kitty and I were immediately put into a room. I had to make a tough decision and as most pet owners know what I mean. I opted for him to get blood work at first so they took him out of the room. I knew in my heart and soul what the right decision was but I did fight it because I didn't want to let him go but quickly realized it wasn't about me and how I wanted just another day w him, it was that he was suffering, hurting so I had them bring my grand kitty back into the room and talked to the Vet about letting him go. The vet explained exactly what was going to happen (as I personally haven't gone through this before) and when I was ready to say my final good-buy the vet administered the sleeping medicine then the good-buy medicine... The vet checked his heart and the words "I'm sorry but Chester is gone" I lost it and just started sobbing over him. After I was ready the assistant came in and I picked out his final resting place. I've seen others get their beloved pets cremated and how they got them back. It was nothing like what VCA did for my grand kitty. I got a call the day before yesterday that he was ready to be picked up. I sent my daughter because, one, I couldn't bring myself to make that drive and two, I was at work. She sent me a text when she got him. I got home that night and she showed me everything that was in the bag ...we cried as we went through everything but they took a heart breaking situation and made it beautiful. I think that's the word. I didn't expect so much thoughtfulness, love and kindness went into them giving u back their final resting place. He's in a beautiful box, his paw print was perfect and the card w some of his fur clippings was carefully placed. They even sent a condolences card, his death certificate and a pamphlet on grieving a beloved pet. Just having all that started mending a broken heart and I started to feel at peace that he was home and so much love was placed into him getting home. I thank you so much VCA from the bottom of my heart! Tonya Raether"
"Hands down best vet experience ever! Dr. Hazard and the staff were very caring and attentive. Also, My beagles have never loved a vet tech so much. Reception was fast and great sense of humor. Thanks for the awesome experience, Angie, Larry and Allen"
"The staff at this vet were extremely kind and patient! They were able to make a same-day appointment for my senior kitty who wasn't feeling well and went above and beyond to ease my anxiety, making sure I knew what the charges were, how the medication was supposed to be handled, and were just overall very helpful and compassionate. I was very happy with my experience here!"
"My little boy Sam was attacked by another dog while hiking and got an infection from it. I brought him here and they took care of him and he make a full recovery! The front desk ladies, the finance lady and the vet, Sarah Mantovani were all awesome, knowledgeable and professional. Sam was so dramatic but they were able to give him proper care and I really appreciate them. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of a vet tech named Deanna Knight. She's not very friendly, and doesn't seem like she even likes her job. The worst part was when I brought him in for her to check the drain they put in his neck to drain the infection, he panicked like I've never seen him before. He would have chewed off his own leg to get away from her. I don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but its hard for me to trust someone when my dog freaks just at the sight of her. Other than that, I'll just bring him in, on her days off in the future. I'm not going to let that ruin this place for me because it's a really awesome facility and its such a blessing that they let me fill out a promissory note. Much love to you guys β€β€"
