"I have a TCL phone I bought the device in April 2023 and by August the charging port stopped working after contacting the warranty dept at TCL they quoted me that it would 8-10 weeks for them to process the warranty and either fix my phone or issue a new one out but it was 25$ both ways for shipping and would be a minimum of 8-10 weeks. I started calling around and was quoted 120 at rapid repair but wasn't sure based on a few reviews but there was still a good amount of good reviews I saw. So I kept calling around and found rapid repair logan quoted me 85$ and said it would probably take a week depending on parts shipping but he was confident he could fix it this was august 31st I dropped off my phone he was super nice we chit chatted a moment about the phone and said with the holiday weekend it would probably be ready in 5-7days. A week later I had herd nothing so I started to call and left a VM he finally responded a few days later saying he got a port and it fits perfect but was defective so he was ordering a new one and it would be another week. I waited a bit but over a week and half later I tried to call again just to get an updated Well I couldn't get anyone to answer my call for over a week even with leaving voice mails. I finally got a hold of Logan and he said he was trying everything he could order be no charging port was fitting and everyone he ordered from was sending ports for wrong phone. he said he was going to try a few more place to order than if not just refund me and return my phone to me. After no contact for a bit it was October 24th I went in picked up my phone and reminded him I wanted a refund and so he said he would. Fast forward to November 19 and still no refund. I contacted Logan again via txt this time and he said square refunded me already it's just still processing. Still no refund and no communication. After I posted my review he contacted me to tell me to just come in the following Saturday and pick up a cash refund. My husband and I showed up Saturday during open hours and he wasn't there after an hr and another woman waiting with us too we decided to leave. Then a few hours later he messages saying he used the cash to buy a devices and that he can refund and me on a cash app or venmo. I posted to come in instead for a cash refund. This when he refunded me the cost plus taxes and asked if I could take down the review. I told him I would edit it if Google allows that. So over all poor communication, didn't get the job done but apologized and refunded me in the end."
"Total scam... Went in 5 Jan for a new phone battery. Was told that they ordered the part, it would be in on the 8th and cost $109. So I paid and came back on the 8th, they said that they were ordering the part now and it would be in on the 11th. On the 11th I was told that they would call me when the part comes in... It's now February 4 and still nothing. I ended up going to another place that fixed my phone on the same day."
"Logan is great, he let me come in & take off the back of my MacBook Pro M1 17 inch cover right near closing time, all for free to check to see if it needed any cleaning. I had given them a call to see if I could come in and use one of their specialty screwdrivers to open up the back, and he said no problem!! He then even helped me troubleshoot a problem with my battery and gave me some great insight, he really pointed me in the right direction. I found out so much more what the issue was then when I went to Apple a few weeks ago. I found out that it is likely a board issue rather then a battery issue, and luckily he has a person that can fix practically anything on the board. So now I’ll be able to save a ton money when I go to get my board fixed through them, rather than Apple. He even said they’d be able to preserve my files since I can’t seem to log in without my computer dying. If you have an Apple device I’d definitely check here first before you go to Apple, they most likely will be able to save you tons of time and money! Definitely would go again, and my brother had a great experience with his computer about a year ago too. Even enjoyed a great conversation as well while we troubleshooted and looked at the computer! "Back in April my screen phone broke. It took longer to repair than he said it would, keeping my phone for a couple of days rather than the hour he promised. He broke the back of my phone while repairing it. It is still broken. It's December now and he's been avoiding my calls and literally never once called me back, I have had to call him for months and he keeps saying "I'll have it (the back glass)tomorrow" and never does. I want very badly to support small local businesses but the first word in his company is "rapid" and it has been anything but."
"Scheduled a repair here, paid in advance for parts and never got it done. Paid extra for next day shipping, didn't arrive on time. Showed up at rescheduled appointment, they didn't show up after I waited hours. They then promised a refund, now they won't return my calls."
