"WARNING!!!!!! Use this facility at your own risk. We adopted a kitten from them that had a hernia. They did not disclose that. When we brought our kitten in for a spay and hernia repair, we were charged for repair, we discussed it with the vet prior to surgery and the hernia was never repaired. The vets quote was, “I made a mistake. I am human”. I cannot in good faith recommend this facility."

"In 10 years, this is the only vet my dog has liked. He likes them because they’re gentle and sweet with him and they really take their time to make him comfortable. Facility is nice, prices reasonable. Highly recommend!"

"I really appreciated their availability on a Saturday last minute for someone that is not a current client (because I don’t live on Whidbey). My dog was stung by a bee and was swelling really fast in his face which was scary to be on Whidbey far from 24/7 hr hospitals. The doctor and staff were so kind and compassionate during the scary situation. Hope I never need to come back given our regular vet is off island, but had to leave a review because I had such a great experience. Thank you!!"

"Love Best Friends! Have used them since I moved to Whidbey in 2020 and they are amazing! They take really great care of their pups. Female rottie spay didn’t go as planned and Dr. Anderson took personal care for her to ensure she was comfortable and progressed well in her recovery! Male neuter also didn’t go as planned but Dr. Syring took great care of him when we brought him back in! They do really care for your pet! Only other vet I used since being here was the Navy vet and while the pricing for visits/emergencies was slightly lower, I stopped using them after a few visits due to inconsistencies in their scheduling and lack of availability but Best Friends has been my go to for years!"
