Honestly, they would get a 5 if there were more branches around in Thurston county. They would have less of a line and more ATMs. Overall, I'm happy with this location."

"I sold a car for $6,000 and got a check from Navy Federal Credit Union and had no problems cashing it. I walked in with the check, and walked out with the cash with ease, no hassle like that much tends to cause elsewhere. Also, I'm not a member, but there was no fee which is highly unusual and much appreciated as it can be $5-10% of the check depending on the bank, like Key bank will charge an outlandish fee even if the check is from their bank."

"I live over 100 miles away from the nearest branch and called twice ahead of time to see what all I needed to do a name change on my account. I was told that a driver’s license and SS card with the new name would work. Obviously that was wrong. All this paperwork of a marriage certificate (and in my case a divorce decree) along with ID and SS to change my name. After being frustrated with that I asked if I can’t at least take my ex husband off of the account and was told no. He would have to come in and volunteer to get off of the account. I closed and opened new accounts a few times since I’ve been divorced and have been told that he wouldn’t be on those accounts. I’m highly disappointed with the events of this morning."
