"Dealing with DHL was extremely difficult and unpleasant. I made a mistake and forgot to put my address number, and fixing it with customer service was an huge hassle. Once everything was fixed the package was delayed a second time because I didn’t provide a door code to the apartment complex, which I have never had to provide for any other delivery service. I really wish they would have called me instead of delaying my package an entire day. The website also wouldn’t allow me to update the door code online so I had to call customer service. At this point I was frustrated and wanted to pick up my package, which wasn’t an option until several days later. I am not upset that the package was delayed because I made a mistake, but the customer service and entire process to fix it made me never want to order with DHL again. After reviewing the other one star reviews, I am not surprised with their experiences. Luckily I didn’t need anything in a timely manner, but even if you need a package right away or not, avoid DHL if you can. FedEx and UPS are so much more reliable and have much better customer service than DHL."
"I was supposed to have a package delivered yesterday, I looked out my door and saw some headlights, I wasn't until the truck turned around that I saw the DHL truck drive away without being delivered. Straight away I got on the website to get a number to call, 7:05, closed. Called today "Wednesday" 1:30 ish talked to someone, who said he will send a message. Same damn thing at 6:30 ish. I actually talked to someone who said that they'll send a message, and I would receive a call back by 10:00am tomorrow, WHAT. With the instant communication technology we have today you can't send the driver a text to get the package delivered that was supposed to be here yesterday. I paid for a delivery that was to be delivered by a certain day. This is the part needed to get my vehicle back on the road. I THINK WE CAN DO BETTER DHL."
"Those idiots didn't deliver my package because they assumed the address was missing an apartment number when its actually is a house and the address was correct. I was told that it would arrive till 9pm and at the last minute I checked the app and it said the address is wrong. now I must take an other day off to make sure I get the package and ill have to call them tomorrow to make sure those imbeciles do their job right."
"Extremely frustrated at this point. I understand the country has been dealing with major issues with the weather which has caused delays. However while tracking my package that is coming from Canada, it looks like my package has taken unnecessary trips all over the country. From Canada to Ohio-Mexico, to Seattle where it was on HILD due to weather(completely understandable) then down to Portland (where I live) and now tracking shows it back in OHIO! Can’t get real answers from emails, can’t get someone on the phone. The seller I bought my purchase from said they can’t assist and are not responsible for what happens after they send it. So…DHL, what are we going to do regarding my package???"
"I have had several international packages go missing from this facility. I follow the tracking number and the package gets tagged as delivered, but the tracking info ends at the PDX DHL Sorting Station. When I call DHL customer service all they offer is that I should contact the purchasing company that I ordered from in S. Korea. I think something is happening at this facility, and it is just cheaper for DHL to ignore it. How many of my deliveries have to get (not delivered, lost, etc.) before the German head office / DHL corporation does a fraud / theft investigation? If DHL is just passing on to private contractors the "final mile" delivery job -- it is a terrible business practice -- and they deserve to lose your business. I recommend you pick another shipping company both for shipping out and delivery. Just awful customer service too."
