"I ordered my products through one of the office supply company. The order was to be shipped in 1-3 business days. Great I thought. After the date went by and I waited an additional 2 days I called the supply company. They said it was in transit. I waited another week and called again. I was told that the shipping company lost my order. As I sat on hold I saw that the shipper was Dynamex. I looked them up and saw that the rating was pretty poor. I told the agent on the line what I had found . He gave that canned apology and said that the company was trying to turn it around and they ( the supply company) was going to continue to use them. So this means to me that the supply company doesn't care about their customers getting good service. So to kill to birds with one stone. I am taking my business else where."
"Same as everyone else, a terrible Ikea delivery experience. Did not arrive in the stated delivery window, screamed incomprehensibly at me on the phone, and the items ultimately arrived damaged. Actually, no, I think they *arrived* ok, as I didn't notice any damage to boxes coming off the truck. I actually suspect they dropped them as the guy was stacking them and I was distracted with paperwork, then just took off without saying anything about it. Just rent a truck yourself, never do Ikea delivery!"
"Incredibly awful company. I ordered an Ikea mattress on June 27th and set a delivery date of July 18. The delivery company (Dynamex) was supposed to notify me in advance of a time when they would deliver my mattress. Instead, I got a call from their driver saying he was at my apartment at 9am on the 18th - I was not home and could not get there for several hours. His grasp of English was so terrible that we could not set another time for that day for the delivery (he apparently did not understand the word "noon", among other things). Fast forward to Monday the 20th. I call Dynamex to set another delivery date and am on hold for nearly an hour. Finally, when I speak to someone, we set a delivery date of Wednesday the 22nd between 11am and 3pm. Fast forward to Wednesday, and it's 5pm and my mattress has not been delivered. I call Dynamex and they tell me that, due to a "computer error" my order was not routed for delivery. So, we reschedule my delivery for the next day, Thursday the 23rd, again between 11am and 3pm. At 5pm on Thursday, not having received my mattress, I call Dynamex, and after being on hold for a half hour am told that Ikea cancelled my order. No call. No email. Nothing. So I call Ikea today and am on hold for 2 hours before I can finally speak to someone about my issue. And guess what? They tell me that Dynamex claims to have attempted to deliver my mattress twice this week - once on the 22nd and once on the 23rd. Nevermind that I work from home and was in my apartment all day every day this week, and therefore would have noticed any delivery attempts. So, in short, this company terrible. They employ drivers who cannot communicate in even the simplest of English, they make "computer errors" that result in products not being delivered on time, and they openly lie to both consumers and their B2B partners when they make obvious mistakes and are called out on it."
"I have had the worst experience with Dnyamex. I purchased a sofa though Ikea who is using Dynamex for shipping. Things went well until I needed to reschedule my delivery. I called 6/19/15 to ensure my delivery was coming 6/20/15. Was assured it was going to be delivered, but they did not have a window of time. Called 6:30 AM 6/20/15 to find out window of time for delivery. Was told still don't know, but it's going to be delivered today. The call center needed to talk to the Portland location to get information and would call me back in 1 hour. No call back, so I called again. Representative unable to reach driver, said would call me back in 20 minutes. No call back, called about an 1 1/2 hours later and was told no driver showed up today, no one is delivering to your area today. We will try to arrange delivery for tomorrow. Someone from Portland will call you by noon. Received a phone call from a nice guy from Portland. Apologized about the issues and assured me I would get my delivery Sunday 6/21/15 11-3 timeframe. I verified this is the confirmation I need, no other calls. Assured me yes. 3 PM rolls around 6/21/15 and no sofa. Call customer service and was assured my sofa was out for delivery, but all the trucks were 2 hours behind due to an issue that morning. He assures me my package will be delivered between 5-5:30 6/21/15. 6 PM rolls around, no sofa. I call the customer service line to be told my package was NEVER out for delivery that day, they have no idea why I was told it would be. At this point I am beyond frustrated. I call the Portland phone # I was provided and was assured again that my package was never out for delivery and that he doesn't know why they told me it was. It was never scheduled. At this point, I don’t even know what to say. He is apologetic and assures me if will be delivered 6/27/15. At this point, I highly doubt it. I am close to canceling my order I am so frustrated! How does a company operate this way? I was lied to countless times and given different answers every time I talked to someone. I just want my sofa!"
"Dynamex is the local delivery service that IKEA Portland uses for home deliveries. My experience with them was TERRIBLE. I was allowed to choose a 9AM - 1PM delivery window for delivery and even received a confirmation call reminding me of my delivery. However, I received NO DELIVER between 9 AM - 1PM. I did not even receive a phone call indicating that the drivers were going to be late. I have spent all day waiting at home for my items to arrive and have not received any indication as to their whereabouts. This has caused yet another night of sleeping on the floor while I wait for my new mattress to arrive in my unfurnished apartment. I strongly recommend IKEA PORTLAND to terminate their business relationship with this unreliable unresponsive business."
